“Lola's catered our birthday party this weekend. Easy to work with, flexible, on time and everything delivered with style. They also helped us out by supplying G, an outstanding bartender. Loved the chef, great guy. Our only regret was that we are so busy partying our guests ate all the paella. Hearing this, they offered to give us additional paella at the Kensington Farmers market the next day. Highly appreciate that touch.“

“This is a family owned business. So again. I love to support family businesses. I usually should get the premade breakfast burritos. The staff is very friendly. They do get busy, so you just need to be patient. Overall it's a nice ambiance. And their pastries are so good. If you ever the area give them a try and you won't be disappointed.“

“Friendly staff and lovely seating interior. Food was delicious with good wok fire. The sizzling seafood plate was flavorful and went well with jasmine rice. The red duck curry was delicious with sticky rice. Coconut pad Thai was very satisfying and great portion. I saw lots of take out orders getting delivered every several minutes at dinner time. Glad to find out about this restaurant as it stays open till 10 pm. Easy parking in its own lot. I will come back to try other dishes.“

“I stopped here out of curiosity to after getting items from Arizmendi and Los Cantaros Taqueria. I got the Honey Cake slice, chocolate baklava, and pistachio almond cookies (gluten free). Hatice the owner is very friendly and answered any questions I had. The Honey Cake was amazing, just the right amount of sweetness, not too much. I ate up the cake and baklava but shared the cookies. My family members said the cookies were great. I'll try to arrive before 12noon another time to get their breakfast items, like the egg in the hole. This will be one of my new go to places for food.“

Really bland.Not here! Ordered the Kofte kebab plate, and it was absolutely delicious. Tender perfectly seasoned on fresh pita bread, a scoop of rice, both yogurt and hot sauce, and a dollop of Baba Ganoush.This is one of the best combination Middle Eastern plates I've had in the East bay, ever. I highly recommend this place. Clean interior, friendly staff, clean bathroom, and it easy to find location.“

“We hired Rafael's to cater my 60th Birthday and boy did they deliver a spread. The food was so delicious and was talked about and complimented long after the party . I highly recommend the International Buffet and don't forget the LECHON! I will hire them for all of my future events !“

“Have everything I love all year. First time here, don't know why I never knew about this spot when my 13 year old went with her dad last year lol. Coming back. Everything was good from mild link corn dog, bacon funnel cake, churro parfait, fried oreos, pineapple sausage corn dog, popcorn, dipped strawberries, strawberry cheesecake caramel apple. “We came here for breakfast and had a fantastic meal. We ordered the buttermilk pancakes, New York everything bagel platter, potato pancakes, banana rum soufflé pancakes, and 2 sunny side up eggs with home fries and chorizo. We really enjoyed the banana rum soufflé pancakes, and the buttermilk pancakes are the best pancakes we’ve ever had, as they’re so thick, light, and fluffy. We will definitely come back again when we’re back in Berkeley!“

“Derry and his staff are outstanding! The food is SO good, the presentation beautiful, and the staff so nice, efficient and accommodating! We have used Englunds a lot for large parties in Rossmoor and they never failed to come through. Derry, the owner, catered my husband's birthday party for 80 people on December 29. We had medallions of pork with three types of sauce, salmon done to perfection with dill sauce, roasted red potatoes, glazed carrots, and a mixed green salad with fabulous dressing.The tables were done up with black tablecloths with pedestals and beautiful flower arrangements. The buffet lines moved very quickly, and I got so many compliments from my friends on the food. I highly highly recommend this catering service for an affordable fabulous party!“
