“Not busy at all when I went Friday evening, which was a total surprise considering the food was absolutely delicious! Had the rib combo. All of the sauces were great, but my personal favorite was the Sweet Carolina. The ribs are cooked to perfection, fall off the bone with just the right amount of char on the outside. Their coleslaw was the best I’ve had in a LONG time, sweet and fresh. The cornbread is fresh and just the right amount of sweet too. The fries are crispy and well seasoned, not too much, not too little. Went twice in the same night and next time I’m in town, I will be back!“
“I've been staying here for 6 years. They store my trailer and pull it out when I visit. I just switched from an old trailer to a new one. They were so helpful making the transition especially Allyson. I used to drive from Arizona but I'm going to be 70 in November so I fly into SLO airport and Uber bus or walk everywhere. It is so accessible.“
“We love going here just I have done since the 70's. Unfortunately the restaurant seems to have lost something from what it was back into the day. The sides aren't as good, the atmosphere is less, something. But we still love it.“
“Went here on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted right away. Everyone who works there is so nice. One of the ladies from the back brought out some egg rolls for our daughter. This is a great place to take the whole family. I felt like I a regular. After going, I will be. The food not only tastes great, but the portions are great. They also have plenty of parking which is hard to find in SLO.“
“Seems to always be busy. Despite that, the wait for food is pretty short. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. There is a large selection of fountain drinks available. The fries are dynamite. The seasoning they use is very close to 5 guys cajun seasoning. My burger came with a ranch cup that complimented the fries very well.“
“Fantastic option for catering events. The team was responsive, reasonably priced, extremely professional, and great at their craft. They were accommodating for last minute changes and brought their A-Game. Our event was elevated to a higher level having this awesome group come and cook for us!“
“This place was SO good!! OMG what a lil gem. We stopped in here and didn't expect it to be as tasty as it was. The portions are also HUGE. We couldn't even finish our meals. Definitely coming back the next time we're craving Hawaiian. They have free parking in the back behind the restaurant.“
“This restaurant feels like authentic Hawaiian food right when you walk in. The Mac salad is great. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. I would skip the shrimp next time because the batter was pretty thick. I'm sure to go back and try more.“
“Juice and tender. Hot if you want it to be. Got some bread with my garlic.Vegetarian options: The salads are vegetarian until you add meat.Parking: 20 or so paid spaces in a public lot adjacent to the building.Wheelchair accessibility: All on street level. No steps.“
“This is one of those "hidden gem" spots! We've even stayed at the San Luis Inn that is right next door and hadn't noticed it. It is down the hill and next door to the pro shop for the golf course. There are large menu boards up next to the entrance and above the bar. You place your order at the bar and then go find a seat. We found a great spot in the shade outside and didn't have any problems with insects. Our lunches (salads and sandwiches) were good and tasty. The view of the ocean was great! A nice, relaxing spot for lunch, especially during the week (apparently it is a lot busier on weekends).“
“My wife and I been wanting to try this place out for a whyle we finally did and I gotta say we were not disappointed staff was really friendly. My wife ordered the top sirloin and I order the new York with onions and mushrooms both cooked medium well. Food was delicious we are definitely going back.“
“Ordering online on Old Slo BBQ's app is very easy and quick. They also offer various sauces to choose from for your sandwich. Also, the app lets you select the time frame within 15 mins (i.e. pick up times 7P-7:15P, 7:30P-7:45P, etc.). Thank you so much to everyone at Old Slo BBQ!“
“I have visited Laguna Grill a couple of times now, and I'm ready to review. There were four of us during today's visit, a Saturday mid-afternoon. The place is huge, has a variety of sports on TVs around the room, and they were happy to turn on the Dodgers game for us. The milkshakes and slices of carrot & chocolate cake were scrumptious! The place is clean, and the bathrooms were fine. Service was mostly ok, considering you order at a counter and they call your number to come get it. They did bring the milkshakes to the table because they took a bit longer. The food was ok. The best thing was the battered fries, which were exquisitely crispy and delicious. The regular fries were ok. I ordered the French Dip, and the sandwich itself was just meh, very bland abd not much flavor in the meat. The dip helped, and together it was tasty. My wife's pizza looked like a microwave cheese pizza, cardboard crust, too much sauce and not enough cheese. The side salad, though, was excellent! Our companions shared a BBQ tri tip sandwich which they really enjoyed! All in all food was a mixed bag. My diet coke was awful, almost no syrup in it, but when I mentioned this to the fellow at the register, he immediately set out to fix it. I appreciated that speed. As many restaurants are experiencing these days, prices are high, about $20 per person for sandwich, side, & soda, and desserts add to that. The menu is huge, so you're bound to find something everyone in your party likes. I'm sure it gets rowdy on big game days. Overall: Service 4* Food 3* Cleanliness 4* Atmosphere: 4*“
“So the food is solid and you can't beat the nice surroundings. Value is not bad, I mean the food feels fresh and most of the the things we have had we loved. The only thing I wasn't loving was the chili they had on the chili dog but the hot dog was good. We used to just go to Avila farms for the animals and the ice cream but now the kids want the yummy Mac and cheese or the chicken sandwich. There is seating all over and you just go up to the window and order.“
“Tyrone... this guy made the experience at ribline what it was. Honestly a cold building somewhat strange inside as far as not welcoming. But what lacked in aesthetic Tyrone made up for in not only personality but customer service! The food was amazing! Had a friend recommend here but everything was amazing the pork ribs were amazing as well as the chili!! Cornbread to die for and the Mac and cheese? the buisness plan here is amazing will definitely be back.“
“Quick pit stop on way to Bay Area from Santa Barbara! Came with a friend who lives in Slo and this is his go to for bringing guests from out of town. I got the fish and chips combo which was PLENTY of food. I loved the clam chowder since it was so creamy and had so many clams. The beer battery fish was amazing. The portion of fries was so much but was perfect for roadtrip snack. The burrito was also good, wish we tried the tri tip. The inside had alot of seating but sat outside since was such a sunny day. Was fun to watch workers season and grill in front of you. Good SLO req!“
