I love this place, I really do, but I'm from Monterey and I guess my standards for seafood are high, but this place is pretty good for being so far from tbe ocean. So 4 stars for not warming the bread and the service can be iffy. I still love going here, I don't really eat carbs anyway. Lol The patio is really cool with the creek running under and u can bring your dogs!

The food is great; the staff is very friendly and provides excellent service; and the venue has a fun relaxed atmosphere; and the live music is also very good. It's on Main Street in the beautiful town of Placerville, CA - a sweet town in the foothills of California, about 35 miles from Sacramento, the state's capitol.

Stopped in Placerville for lunch and found this gem. Lovely welcoming atmosphere and amazing clams! We sat at the bar and engaged in conversation with a few of the regulars. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!

No rating for food because we didn't order any. A lovely, cozy bar with friendly staff, great live music and a spacious patio.

We stopped in and was so excited to get to try the bbq oysters. Let me just say they were out of this world!!!! Everyone said it was the best bbq oyster they ever had. I would definitely agree . Amazing! The staff and owner are so friendly and kind. Every time I walk in I feel so welcome. We sat on the back patio over looking hangtown creek really beautiful. If your lucky sometimes see fish and occasionally crawdads. Thank you for having us. Can't wait to go again and again.

So we've eaten here 3-4 times and gotten drinks there 3 separate times. The drinks are always good, affordable and quick (they're also open late and serving drinks to go on nights like Oktoberfest and the Block Party) but the food is a 2/10. It's always over cooked, seafood is flavorless; they're cutting corners on quality. Service is usually pretty good, quick and very friendly. We'll come back for the drinks but unfortunately I do not recommend it for food.

Passing through Placerville for a bite with friends and left with a new "MUST VISIT AGAIN" restaurant on my list! Great, friendly service, delicious Crab Louie, and everyone at my table raved their choices-Ciopino, Grilled Oysters and various sandwiches. Stop on your way to or from Tahoe. You won't regret it!Dietary restrictions: Easy to find food for my allergies and restrictions.Parking: I rolled up easy, but I'm sure the area could get congested.

Cioppino Was excellent, we wish we had noticed the crab cakes special, our first server didn’t mention it, we would definitely come back to this spot for them.

Small bar with great food and service. Dozen oysters, shrimp louie, and shrimp and crab sandwich were all fantastic! Will definitely come back when in town again.

Server didn't offer help to remove chair to accommodate my wheelchair. Chowder was less than mediocre (where were the clams?) and akin to canned soup; I didn't eat it and mentioned it to server who defended their alleged recipe. Nothing was taken off the bill. Crab cakes flat and tasteless and plopped onto plate with no garnish except lemon wedge. Friend's crab and shrimp in her full louie order were wet and so obviously frozen. Salad portion of her louie was ho-hum. Had to flag down server for more tartar sauce. No second knife for butter. Never asked if everything was okay. Less than mediocre food and bad service. Had to literally wave my hand in the air for long time for server to bring bill. Never going there again and I'm spreading the word. For almost $75 for a luncheon for two, it was, indeed a disappointment.Parking: Close by and easily accessible by wheelchair.
