This one is a cute little bakery in the downtown Pleasanton. I visited it on a Saturday morning, while I was visiting the Farmers Market nearby. I ordered Butter Crossiant and coffee. Good stuff. Will definitely visit again.
I don't live in the area. I live over by Concord, but I had met a friend for a late breakfast and I wanted some good bread and something sweet for later. After this visit, I can't wait to go back! Rye bread: so good! It's hearty and real bread, not like what you find on grocery shelves. It's not a strong rye, which I do love, but with its milder flavor profile I found it works with more foods.
