“**update - their customer service is spectacular. Resolved the issue so we are able to reschedule when our daughter is well again and can rebook our sitter. Thank you for the response!
Made reservations and our kid got sick and had to cancel our sitter the day before. They have no way of contacting them before business hours and their rescheduling policy isn't realistic. It probably is a great place but we didn't get to experience it and had to loose out on the total cost. Need a better policy or don't charge until you get there for this reason.”
“Food was great and so was the service…. Securely going back again!!!”

“This restaurant has integrity. Staff made a mistake (they are human after all), they quickly acknowledged, apologized and took action to correct the mistake. I am one happy customer.
Oh, food is amazing too. Store is usually busy so come early.”
“Very impressed. I'm a bit of a sushi connoisseur. I travel for work and usually find the highest rated sushi restaurant in each town I visit. While this wasn't the highest rated, it was walking distance from my hotel and convenience won out. I wasn't expecting much from a strip mall sushi restaurant, but the quality ended up being on par with some of the higher-end places I've been to. The fish was very fresh with generous portions on the nigiri. The chef and hostess were both very friendly. I didn't eat inside but the place looked very clean and decorated well. Prices were very fair, especially considering this is the bay area.
I'm only in town one more day but I will definitely try to return. Highly recommended.”

TODAY I'm gonna drop-on for the weekend Egg Scramble Bar, value for under 14 euros ! francs? use, sorry, drove to Ptown early@49 ° out tropix”
“I have eaten here twice now. The food is very good, the portions are large, and the prices are reasonable. Compared to other Asian, Chinese, Vietnamese & vegan restaurants, the menu is diverse. Desert options are also good. If you are looking for Chinese and Vietnamese vegan food with variety, this is a great place. Parking is in a busy shopping center just off the 680/580 corridor.”
“I’ve only been here once but tried a variety of dishes and they were all very good. It was hard to find the restaurant at first, it’s in the shopping center on the border of Pleasanton and Livermore and it’s inside a food court in that shopping center. You walk in and it’s the first restaurant on the right. They have an incredible menu of Indian and Nepalese cuisine. The momo is succulent with different sauce options. The noodles were freshly stir fried with a good amount of seasoning and oil. I liked their butter chicken and rice too but the portion was a little small. I will definitely return to try the other chow mein.”

“I had a great time at this restarunt! Each of the various varieties of dosas they offer tastes fantastic. There is something for everyone because the dosas are crispy and loaded with delicious fillings. the staff members are quite pleasant. Also, the staff members are quite pleasant. They were kind and made sure we received our food promptly. This is a great spot to try something new or if you enjoy dosas! I'd definitely return.”
“Love their eggs Benedict and pork chops. Staff is always so nice. Great French fries!”
“Wine flights were varied and the wines distinguished themselves from their sister winery Ruby Hill. The dining room is very nice and huge. Plenty of outdoor seating. Service was good.”
“One of Pleasanton’s finest restaurant for sure. Why - exotic Guyanese fusion cuisine that should please every palate. Very attentive service and a full bar. What else can you ask for? And yes, the nicest chef cum owner - Maurice and his son are real delightful people.”

“Phō here is poppppin !!!! Flavor is not point ! Quantity is good! Bowls are a good size! For me it was the rib in the combo plate!!!! The only thing is they need to add the chilli sauce to their table! It’s quiet but it needs some type of jams ,people aren’t loud even when it’s busy and staff is friendly and quick”
“Delicious and definitely fulfilled our sushi craving. I highly recommend Pocket Sushi no chopsticks required easy to eat, full of flavor, and so pretty to look at. I stopped by after work to pick up a few different types of pockets, the service was great and the food was fresh and made quickly. I waited no more then ten minutes for them to make my six item order and they brought it out to my car which was also very nice. We will for sure be back for more!”
“Visited this restaurant with family on thanksgiving day for lunch. I had veg thali, kids had paneer butter masala and parotta, chola battura, and combo tiffin #1. Food was fresh, flavorful, and hot. The thali was unlimited they served any dish you ask for again. The vegetables on the thali were fresh and tasty. They served avarakkai as a side dish which is not cheap vegetable as it is more cooked in southern India and not grown widely in US. Will recommend this place for good vegetarian light meal. The food had no preservatives or msg as you don't feel heavy after eating”
“One of the best deep dish pizzas in the Bay Area! It doesn’t feel too heavy (which is surprising compared to a lot of deep dish pizzas I’ve had in life) and they have quite a few vegetarian options. They also offer great customizations to any pizza. I’ve visited this place many times and it’s our go-to pizza place for someone living in Dublin! One small size deep dish pizza is enough for 2-3 people easily. Highly recommend!
I wish they would start keeping canned Coke / Pepsi though. Only fountain is available here.”
“Great food, nice staff and Chianti says it all! Oh they have pizza yet you should not hold the image of pizzeria / pizza parlor that leans to the slice o’pie on the east coast. This is nice dining!”

“The food was very delicious, well-portioned and well-priced for the area. We ordered several different dishes and found the quality consistently excellent. The chai was especially worth ordering—warm, cozy, and comforting. Service was very attentive and friendly, with the owner himself taking care of us. The smell from the kitchen as our food cooked had my mouth watering. The atmosphere was lovely, with just-right lighting and lively Bollywood music that made the meal feel extra fun. I really enjoyed my night at Ashoka and would definitely recommend it!”
“If you’re looking for a pizza place with a large variety, this it is! Not only do they have your traditional pizzas on the menu, but they have a great selection of Indian-fusion Pizzas as well! To top it off, they’ve got a ton of craft beers on tap, and they’re constantly bringing in new ones! Terrific atmosphere!”

“Great atmosphere, serving staff is friendly and on point with ensuring you have what you desire and the food was phenomenal. I had the lamb chops with mint jelly and sautéed spinach. Lamb chop cooked perfectly that it melt in your mouth with tons of flavor. My raspberry lemon drop was a bit on the strong side but when I made mention they remedied it by adding a little more simple syrup … perfect.”

“This place is a must-try! The atmosphere is so cozy and pleasant. I had a dish with two servings of rice, a beef patty, egg on top, and it was covered in gravy—it was to die for! I can’t remember the name, but the flavor was unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back for more of their amazing food!”
“Had a wonderful time and delicious salads with just right portions and friendly service”
Takeout Restaurants
“We ordered braised beef noodle soup, house special pork burger and the sliced pork with garlic sauce. We liked the noodle soup the best, the soup and the beef is so rich and tasty, and the noodle has the texture of hand pulled noodles. The pork burger is also yummy. The sliced pork with garlic sauce can use stronger garlic flavor though. Overall the food is a solid four star.”

“We tried the Indian fusion pizza and yes they do half and half. We got half butter chicken and half tandoori pizza we wanted it spicy and they made them so. Overall pizza was flavorful and yummy. Had a great Indian pizza after a long time with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend them.
tandoori wings were super fresh cannot compare with other wing shops. Please keep up the quality, price and the taste, I am sure you will open up many more restaurants.”

“I was very impressed by the selection of gluten-free items at this bakery. They are gluten friendly so if you have celiac, I would ask before purchasing! I tried cookies, bars and cake just to give it all a shot and everything was a great sweet treat. I was also impressed about the hours as it’s very hard to find dessert. That is an ice cream that is open till 10 PM!
Dietary restrictions: Vegan an gluten free”
“I started with an ice tea and did some work on rhe puter as I waited for my childhood friend Mr. MAC.
I read through the menue a couple times and checked out the room, looked like a great place to catch a game, if only I lived closer. When Mr. Mac arrived he said this is my spot everything is great but i am having the crab sandwich So, I got the fresh crab sandwich too bit he got the onion rings and I got a salad with raspberry vinegarette and it was worth every penny. I had a Guinness stout with that 22oz and boy was that a great combo.
I'll Be Back!”
“I love this place, it's my mother in-laws favorite Chinese food in the world. Her favorite is the honey walnut shrimp! My personal favorite is the broccoli beef and egg drop soup. Broccoli beef is the best I've ever had. The food tastes fresh, not grease or too salty. Very good
Parking: Big strip mall usually lots of open parking in this area.”

“I really think this one of the best little ceasers I have ever been too, food was absolutely immaculate, great dough, great cheese, made very well, and cooked when I arrived nice and fresh you can taste the difference compared to other little ceaser restaurants ive been to bay area, tri Valley and most places in between, and I'm telling you please try out this spot.
Kid-friendliness: It's little ceasers they sell pizza and kids love pizza need I say more.”
“We ended up finding this place by chance because we’re waiting for a table at Bill’s Cafe. We decided to walk the plaza and I smelled the aroma of freshly made pizza. We had to GO in. As a New Yorker, I am seriously picky about my pizza. It needs to be thin, crispy with gooey cheese and a great sauce. This place checks off all of the boxes. The owner was super sweet and explained she got the ingredients from the East coast to make it truly delicious pizza. Don’t sleep on this gem!”
“This was my first time trying Korean food, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The kimchi had a delightful spice to it with a well-balanced flavor that wasn’t overwhelming—perfect for first-timers. Personally, I enjoy a bit of a kick in my kimchi, and this one delivered just enough heat while remaining savory.
I ordered the beef short ribs, and my wife opted for the beef fried rice. From the moment the food arrived, the aroma was incredible. The short ribs were flavorful and aromatic, but I felt the texture could have been improved. They were slightly chewy, and for short ribs, I prefer them to be more tender and easier to eat. For that reason, I’d give them a 3.5 out of 5. While the tenderness could have been better, the taste and presentation were still on point.
My wife’s beef fried rice, on the other hand, was outstanding. I have to admit—it was the highlight of our meal. If you visit this spot, I highly recommend trying the fried rice. It was hands down the best I’ve had, and the fried egg on top was a nice touch. I’d rate it a solid 4.5 out of 5. My only suggestion would be to make the egg yolk slightly runnier, which could add an extra layer of umami. Even so, it was absolutely delicious.
As you can see in the photos (taken a bit late into the meal), the food looked fantastic even after we started digging in. The portions are generous—enough to share, though not quite family-style. For our meal, we spent about $30-$40 per person, which felt slightly on the pricier side. Fortunately, our son just snacked on our plates, so we didn’t need to order a separate dish for him.
Overall, this was a wonderful spot for lunch. The food was flavorful, the portions were satisfying, and the experience was enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back again!”
“I and my husband took our sons, grandson, sister and brother-in-law to dinner, waiters were pleasant and helpful and the food just so delicious. A member in our group is a retired chef and said it was the best Chinese dinner he had had for a long time. Just clean Chinese cooking done the way it should be, We all agreed. Thank you for making the end of 2023 a delightful experience.”
“We had an event after a memorial service at Sidetrack and can’t say enough good things. Todd and everyone that helped us were amazing. The food (big kudos on the cauliflower), the atmosphere and service was incredible. We were in the Angela Patio on a rainy night and the patio was cozy with the heaters and the perfect place to have a special event. Thank you Todd.. everyone was so kind and you all took such great care of our family! I would recommend you to everyone.”
“A great asset for Pleasanton amidst the countless Chinese, Indian and Sushi places. Burmese cuisine is flavorful and delicious, the owners are great hardworking people and they have a full bar. My all time favorite for casual bites, take friends and colleagues for a meal. Glad to have them in our hometown.”
“What I liked most about this place was the atmosphere and the green tea. We ordered the Traditional Paitan Ramen with Bone Marrow, Nori Agedashi Tofu, and Chicken Karaage. We really enjoyed the ramen dish, and the Chicken Karaage was okay, but we didn’t like the Nori Agedashi Tofu at all.”
“Beautiful place, wonderful experience and yummy boards and treats and delicious wines and bubbles! Wonderful Owners( mom and daughter) doing things right! Beautiful location! Can’t wait to go back!”

“Sinfully good soft serve & taiyaki! We got:
* milk & sweet corn soft serve swirl with a custard-filled taiyaki
* ube soft serve with a matcha-filled taiyaki
We just wish the ube soft serve had a stronger ube taste to it but otherwise, definitely passing by here every time we're in the area!”
“Dosa. Crispy. Served with unlimited delicious sambar and chutney. Which are vegan. And just the right amount of salt/spice. Oh and the potato masala (the masala in masala dosa) is great too. 5/5 right there. They also have (mostly) clearly marked vegan options on the menu for the other items, some of which can be had for takeout. But dosa is dine in only as it should be.”
“My wife and I have been dining at Gold Chopsticks for years and we love it. They have an extensive menu and I love trying all the amazing dishes. You could easily get hooked on their Pot Stickers with their homemade sauce, Wor Won Ton Soup, Sweet & Sour Prawns, Combination Fried Rice, Broccoli Beef, etc. And I really don't know how anybody can beat their Black Pepper Beef Sizzling Platter, it is awesome on so many levels!!!”
“I’ve been coming to this location for a few years, and it never disappoints, as it’s one of the better mantained in the area, as well as the cleanest and the friendliest staff. On my last visit Linda made our experiece such a delight, as my nieces and nephew were taking forever on deciding what to get, yet she made it easier by suggesting, and making them feel comfortable ordering, making us feel welcomed with her sweet smile and outstanding customer service. The Jalapeño cheese dog is my favorite! Highly recommended! Kudos to her and her and her coworkers in this amazing location! Management must be extremely amazing here, because it shows. Keep up the good work!”
“Food was decent, place was clean, restroom was clean. I had the Western BBQ burger. It was pretty tasty , crinkle fries are always a win in my book . The Mac n cheese bites were quite nice too. I would definitely come again and try another one of their burgers.”
“Very good food. We ate it up. Reasonable prices we can still afford. We shared a super burrito. They were kind enough to cut it and s serve it on two plates for us. We didn’t have to ask. Very courteous and pleasant. The chicken burrito had a lot of flavor. We’re going back for enchiladas and tacos next. Wonderful location, close to old Main St with all the shops Merry loves to see.”
“This little boba shop is located inside of a food hall. They have so many items on their menu, it was hard to choose. I ended up ordering the Thai tea blended, and my husband got the Cafe Mocha flavor. The Thai tea was good, the boba too. Next time I want to try a tropical flavor or the pineapple mousse. My husband would like to try another coffee flavor, but blended next time.”
“I went in to try a new drink matcha coconut water. I know it sounds gross. AND IT WAS lol ! But I hopped on the hype train and definitely came right off. Oh well! I went to order something else and he Ethan (I think that’s his name) said it’s okay the drink is on the house. I told him many times it’s okay I’ll pay. And he didn’t want to let me pay. He told me I should pay for something I like. Also that many people came in to try that drink and said it’s not good lol. I appreciate his honesty, and his kindness. He didn’t have to do that and that’s why I love coming here all the time ! They are always soo soo kind!”
“I ordered Pozole to-go (Tue Nov 12, 2024). It was delicious!! However, too spicy for me. It comes with diced onions, chopped radishes and shredded lettuce. I wish they would switch out the lettuce for cabbage as the lettuce wilts in the hot soup. I had Pozole from here last year, it was not spicy. Overall I recommend the Pozole if you like it spicy.
Parking: There is a raised step as you enter, be careful. Nice self serve salsa bar!”
“We always enjoy the sitting outside people watching and getting excellent service and food. My wife inevitably gets one of the specials- and loves the seasonal change in the menus.”

“Their recent all you can eat with price of $29.99 is unbeatable deal! As a born and raised in Sichuan Chinese, I enjoyed their very authentic spicy pot very very much! There are many other flavors to choose from and so many varieties of sauces to add to your taste bud! Service is excellent! Food is fresh. I plan to go there at least once a month to satisfy my gravy craving for very authentic Chinese hot pot. On top of that, they also have authentic Sichuan dishes to enjoy!”
