“AMAZING quality, a clean ambiance, great service and family friendly. We came for lunch and the rolls we ordered were delicious and the sushi/fish was all so so fresh. The staff was ever so warm, inviting and attentive -- we had a 2 year old with us so eating out can become a thing, but their kiddo friendly options were a hit and the staff checked in on us frequently and never made us feel like "that" family. My two year old had a California roll (real crab, little bits of cucumber and generous avo!), udon noodles and he even killed my miso soup side. We're hoping to come back here for a date night (beautiful interior) to try out some other items from their menu and what looks to be a very generously stocked bar and drink options. Thank you, Kinja!“
“Food was unexpectedly good at such price, the curry beef udon and black garlic ramen were both extremely rich in ingredients; was probably a special offer but we were also given two small plates of fried rice which was also in high quality. Would definitely come back again.“
“ - not exceptional, but no missesAmbiance: CasualValue: AverageDon’t be fooled by the name, they offer Hong Kong cuisine alongside a Japanese ramen menu. Seems like it’s Chinese ran.Ordered the Agedashi tofu, black garlic ramen, and Hong Kong baked fish in white cream sauce. The tofu and ramen were spot on for what I expected. Could really taste the black garlic flavor in the broth. They used thin sliced chasu pork. The baked rice fish dish was also exactly what you’d expect from a Hong Kong cafe. I do think it could’ve used more fish for the price. Everything was good and depending on your taste buds, could be VERY GOOD. For me, it was a worthwhile meal but can’t say it was exceptional or blew my mind.Would come back again.“
“We recently discovered Kyoto Ramen and will be returning many times over! Each person in our party had something different and we each eyeballed the other's food. The flavors were delicious- high quality and generous servings. The menu is so vast that we are already talking about what we plan to order next time. We took our dinners to go this time but will eat in next time to experience the food. Even the mild ramen broth has a slight kick. This is a great addition to Livermore!!“
“This place is AMAZING!!! The owners are super nice and the food quality is phenomenal! They really could charge a lot more for the amount of food and the flavor! Every item is fantastic. I can't wait to keep trying new items. Ramen is delicious too!!“
“It doesnt look like something awesome from the outside, but it is beautiful inside and the location has its pros and cons. Peacful and clean. I ordered three drinks, thai milk tea, lychee tea, and regular milk tea. All drinks were authentic and full of flavor. Sweentness was perfect. We also ordered a red bean mochi which was perfectly cooked and tasty. The visual was gorgeous. Service was decent. Cant wait to come again.“
“I ordered seafood ramen. The seafood were fresh and the shrimps & scollops were very big! The ramen amount is a little less than I expected but the seafood qualities were the best I have ever had! My fiancé ordered chicken katsu don and it’s also good! We like the rice with fried eggs & sauce toppings. The chicken portion were big as well! Highly recommend!I ordered guava green tea after my meal. The tea is good but there’s no guava favor in it. Their drink comes with a free topping. So overall I had a positive experience here.“
“My first time here for lunch. A two-item combo plate is reasonably priced. I ordered sashimi with teriyaki salmon. The three slices of sashimi were salmon, tuna and yellowtail. Yellowtail had a dallop of ground ginger/garlic which greatly enhanced the taste. I found it amazing that the chef paid attention to such small portion of a lunch. My friend who ordered Hamachi Kama said the portion was the largest she ever seen in the area. It was delicious, too.“
“I’ve had a lot of ramen all over the west coast and this restaurant easily is the best ramen I’ve ever had. Simple, delicious, and heart-warming. Every ingredient is cooked perfectly with care. The chashu made me want to cry tears of joy. I cannot wait to return for more!“
“Been here more than several times. Today, I visited on a Tuesday at 12:30p and was able to be seated immediately. I always enjoy their fried chicken cartilage and Tantanmen Ramen. The chicken cartilage is super crunchy and not oily. Usually, they serve it with a Japanese aioli type sauce on the side, but not today, however I did not miss it....more unneeded calories! The ramen noodles are nice & chewy, the broth is flavorful, and there are many ingredients making it almost stew-like. Delicious! Oh, and excellent service always!!“
“Ramen 101 has multiple locations in the Bay area. This location has about ten tables in a well designed layout. I ordered a bowl of black garlic with extra chashu and extra spicy. I filled a fountain soda and my bowl was on table with my drink before I could finish washing my hands. The broth was balanced. The best part was an entire perfectly cooked egg sliced in half. Each half showed a jelly orange yolk. The egg was also balanced in flavor and allowed the creamy yolk to stay prominent. I recommend this location for a filling and quick bowl of tasty ramen.“
“Solid five star Ramen beat down designed to take on Ippudo. Lots of chicken in the chicken teriyaki with edible cabbage that was boiled or something. Point is, it was not just plastic green garnish like at Denny's. Also landed the Tonkatsu ramen which produced some heat. Great flavors and freshness but might overwhelm the uninitiated. Stepped up to a Musubi to go for later Netflix viewing. Side note - chicken was charred which was nice.“
