“Came in on a Tuesday night and had great service and Sushi. My buddy, who really isn't a sushi guy like me and I had Albacore Delight, Albacore Lover roll, Hawaiian roll and the Jalisco roll. Every one of them was fresh and really good! Stuffed Jalapeño was great too. He is now hooked! Our server was the owner and he was on top of it the entire time. Will go back for sure when visiting .“

“The sashimi is consistently of higher quality - fresh with smoother texture - and the tempura lighter without the oil drenched heaviness of old school home cooking. Overall, the food has a tasty, lighter, and balanced flavor profile that we enjoy. But talking about service, can you imagine our surprise when a waitress walked over to our table and gave us 50.00 in cash (not credit) saying that we overpaid on our last visit - a month ago! Some years earlier, one of the sushi chefs and former student of mine paid for our meal as a surprising and much appreciated gesture of gratitude. Thank you.“

“Stopped by here today for their lunch special. The food had so much flavor, but the only thing I wish was different was the temperature of their soup. I love my soups piping hot especially on a rainy day and my soup was just warm, but not hot. I ordered their basil feel lunch special, my hubby ordered their garlic chicken special and my kids split their stir fry chicken lunch special. They all come with a side of rice, soup and a salad. The service was excellent. We ordered their mango with sticky rice for dessert, it was so yummy! The lady that waited on us didn't speak a lot of English, but good enough that we could communicate with her. The restaurant is small and it was a little busy today, but we still were able to get a comfortable booth. I think it was a good deal for all of the delicious food we got. We'll be back soon.“

“Differently a hidden gem. I didn't expect much when I walked in, thinking it's just another trying to be Asian food. They closed at 6pm so we almost missed it..But I was sooooo wrong... They basically only have 3 things: steak, shrimp and chicken (well, and veggi). We had the Steak rice And hot garlic chicken noodle. They are both delicious but the steak is definitely much better than the chicken. Good portion for $10.95. lots of steak and they are tender and juicy. Spot on seasoning, sweet but also savory. Definitely will come back.“

“i have been coming here for almost 2 decades LOL and when i say this is my ultimate comfort food, I!! am!!! not!! joking!!! ??ozeki noodle has been a long time establishment in vc serving some of the tastiest and warm japanese comfort food and i will always recommend ozeki to anyone stopping by.the original owners have moved on and retired (i luv them ?) but the food and recipes still stand to be the same and just as delicious.highly recommend, it’s a hole in the wall and now next to a nice milk tea shop as well, don’t miss out !“

“The food was absolutely outstanding rolls were very fresh and chicken and spicy pork were tender and juicy. Meats were all perfectly seasoned. Bento box is great deal. Tempura was amazing and so was the california roll. Atmosphere was very traditional and felt like a miniature japan. Service was very very friendly and kind and welcoming. Been here multiple times and never rude service, coming back again!Dietary restrictions: Food was very balanced and offered very yummy salads and many low calorie foods.“

“R1: Crazy shrimp roll 7.5/10- Good mix of flavors- the popcorn shrimp was cold when its a deep fried shrimp, a little soggy as well. Could be 10x better if this was at least refried or fried fresh.- Do watch out for shrimp tails at the end of the rolls, I personally like them but some people dontR3: Great White Shark Roll 9/10- We ordered this twice, awesome mix of flavors- Garlic is freshly roasted and hot. Strong flavor- The Jalapeno gave a nice texture and flavor to the roll- A bite or two isnt too spicy but the spice does add up the more you eat- Overall highly recommendedR19: Volcano Roll 5/10- Lots of scallops on top of the roll but it just kinda rolled everywhere and its flavor didnt really blend with the roll itself. Scallops itself were good and the roll itself were good, we just didnt enjoy eating both in one bite.- Too much sauce, it made the roll soupy to where it would fall apart when you pick it up- Might need to change the plating of this dish because it does have potential. But flavors all together were unpleasantR21: Albacore Roll 7/10- Simple and decent roll- Spice level is about a 3/5We ordered 5 rolls total with 3 cokes and a tea, the total was $98 so i say it was pretty decent for the prices.We do plan to come back and taste more stuff.We came around 4pm so the store was a little empty and maybe thats why the atmosphere was a little off.“

“We came here because the bbq place we were recommended was closed. At first I wasn’t sure how it was going to be. But oh my. For $13 the lunch special is on the best deals ever. The food was being made right in front of you and the workers were so nice. The food was good and eating outside by the marina was so delightful. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for cheap, good, fast food. I don’t give out 5 stars a lot of this place was awesome!“

“Don't order the Chicken Katsu dinner plate unless you want tempura chicken. 2 completely different types of breading. Other then that everyone is nice and the service ambiance is perfect for a family night out or even to catch a beer or 2 alone at the bar.“

“First time customer. I always passed by and wondered about this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised because from the outside it looks like any other 'fast food'. Just had my miso soup and salad. So far, excellent. Sadly, the price for the dinners (I got 3 items) is more than what these menus state. But, a lot of food, so I was not too slighted by the higher charge. I suggest these Facebook page be brought current.“

“Moved to Vegas 25 years ago. Miss 3 things about Oxnard - Family, the beach and Otani’s. Been fortunate to eat in some of the best restaurants in the U.S. I would choose Otani’s Fried Teriyaki Snapper with double rice over any other meal that’s out there. Otani’s was a staple for me growing up and had the fortune of knowing the family. Crave it constantly and go there every day whenever I make it back to town.“

They do not take reservations but appreciate a call ahead for larger parties.The wait time for dinner was about 10 mins.Sushi was excellent as well as their appetizers! They have great pricing!They only have two waitresses on the floor so service isn't great. Food gets out quickly. If you need anything extra it takes a while to ask for.The main reason I'm not giving it a 5 out of 5 stars is because when we were seated they sprayed the table beside us with bleach and water to clean and that was not what I wanted to smell right before I eat. And again they don't have enough staff for the amount of people being served.“
