“I read about this place at another in internet article and finally got around to trying it today I had shredded chicken sandwich absolutely delicious the bread was crispy and tasty and the sandwich perfectly packed in and with different tastes then I'm used to from an Italian sandwich can't wait to go back“
“Only problem is they have vegan options ,so meataterians foods are infected with Hoi polloi fixing that don't belong like micro green lettuce instead of iceberg that tastes better. Sprouts are for depressed people. Otherwise, the turkey is fantastic and they use good mayo. The sourdough bread is the best anywhere. Prices are “
“DeFranko’s is an OG sandwich stop in the valley. They have been around for over 50 years. It’s a little hole in the wall stop with no indoor dining but they have a few tables and chairs outside with a very small parking lot.The service was just okay. They definitely get a lot of orders in person and over the phone. There was a line out the door. I recommend calling ahead because they do get busy!I got the Italian sub for my parents who were in town and a chicken salad for me. The chicken salad was just okay. After reading more reviews, I wish I had gone with the pastrami because that one seems most popular. My parents enjoyed their sandwich but wish it had more meet inside.I will definitely come back again by calling in and trying something new.“
“This place has so many choices!!!! Tough to decide. Staff is super helpful and friendly. The person we had was also very knowledgeable.Place was empty and kinda cold. We decided to take out. It is okay to eat here since it was very clean. Vibe is neutral.Came here for my, and hubby's, birthday sandwiches (through the app). I got the Paul Reuben (French bread and no dirty sauce). Hubby got Hollywould's SF Cheesesteak (double Dutch bread with dirty sauce). Both sandwiches were a knockout! We will return. Sandwiches are about $11-$15 on average a few are higher. No regular mayo available only dirty mayo.“
“I received the ultimate steak pocket. The ingredients are wonderful, but you need a fork to finish it because it was oversalted (which the friendly owner verified and offered to correct), and it was crumbling at the end. The portion and price are both reasonable. For now, I'll give it four stars.“
“The two ladies working here yesterday were lovely. And my turkey sandwich was fantastic. I love the bread they use and all the ingredients were fresh. They know how to make a great, well-proportioned sandwich. Will definitely be back again.“
“I ordered the LA Street Pastrami, and it was fantastic. Wonderful meld of flavors! The inside has 5 small tables and a bar-style window bench for eating in. Parking is limited, and you may need to park along the street a little ways down depending on how busy it is.“
“Being world travelers entrepreneurs is such an exciting experience! Everyday is different and some days your broke! But when you get exceptional customer service and great food it's all worth the risk! Urbane cafe is a family owned businesses which We appreciate. Their food selection is delicious and unique. The manager JUSTICE I hope I spelled it correctly was so courteous. She helped us with three turkey club sandwiches! We are forever grateful!“
“This is the best sub sandwich in the Valley. I've tried them all. Better than all subs, the bread is done on a plancha and has the absolute perfect combo of crunch and chew -one of a kind. The owner has kept the consistency that has existed since I was a kid. The bread, meats, construction and relishes are spot on perfect. Order which sub you want and let the man behind the counter do the rest. There's only one Balboa Sub Shop.“
“I've been here several times. This place never disappoints. I try different sandwiches every time, but the Tomato Basil Bisque is ALWAYS included in my order. The staff is super friendly and makes great recommendations. Five stars are not enough!“
“I got the best ahi salad today at this location. The people who helped me between 1-1:30pm today were so amazing. They were smiling and interacting with each other so nicely and fun that it made me feel that they all get along and that the vibe was comfortable. I talked with them and they smiled and were kind. And the food was so fresh and yummy. And huge.I have not been to this location for a cpl years and now will go back thanks to the manager and the rest of the staff. Makes life better when you smile. And show kindness.“
“Hands down the best brunch spot in Valencia! Their paninis are seriously to die for, and don't even get me started on the fresh, healthy cold-pressed juices. What I love most? The prices won't break the bank, the service is top-notch, and the vibe is just perfect. If you haven't been here yet, you're seriously missing out!“
“I came into this place because checked the reviews while I was already in the shopping center. I saw the positive reviews about the food and while I was nervous about the wait times mentioned, I had to give it a try. My sandwich came out in about 3 to 4 minutes with about 5 other customer in the shop and 2 also waiting. I got the Dani California loaded up on Dutch crunch and it was really good! Good quality, abundant and filling sandwich. Now I need to try some of the others... Meatball next! The seating area and open kitchen was very clean.“
“This sandwich spot has a great selection of cold and hot sandwiches, burgers, wraps. Chips ,fries, fountain drinks, Mexican sodas.I like the Reuben sandwich, pastrami sandwich and Turkey avocado. The service is great, fast service. They got a couple of televisions , clean place and great food.Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.Parking: Parking behind building.“
“Little diner on the side of the road but lots of flavor. The lady at the register is a bit high strung but she is cool. The food is great and good prices. Can get Korean and a phili cheese. Food is made fresh and delicious. I sit down sometimes and the people that come in are working class. Worth the money and time!Kid-friendliness: Small diner and home feeling. The food is good for kids.Parking: 8 spot in front of the building and more next to the liquor storeWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out and order outDietary restrictions: You can have it made your way.“
“Our first time to dine here. Good, fresh food, excellent service, and the place is clean. Patio seating is a plus. We tried the footlong Philly cheese steak. The sauce was savory and yummy! But i wished the bread was crunchier. We also had potato salad and Ceasars on the side. We left the place full and satisfied, and happy tummy ?.“
“Great food! I've been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally did. Nice size portioned sandwiches.I gave a 4 for atmosphere only because the area it’s in is a little sketchy due to the homeless in the area (dude sleeping a couple of stores down in the same plaza).“
“Students come here after school as it is a good pickup spot. They love the slushies! The brownies are good! They also sell sandwiches and soda.Parking: There is a big parking lot outside. If you come on weekdays after school it may be difficult to find a spot nearby, otherwise it is easy to park.“
“We have been regulars at the tomato patch for 30 years, the quality, service, portions, freshness has not changed ever, each sandwich and each dish is done with loving care for the past 30 years, my kids would go after school, now my grandkids go after school, this place is a landmark, same owners always smiling, always happy. Don't miss this hidden gem in the valley, once you go. You will not go anywhere else enjoy!!“
“First time here, and for a walk up and order a sandwich place, I really like it. The service was friendly and prompt. I had the half sandwich half soup special for $9.99 and my son had the 9 inch chipotle chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and filling. I liked that they did not charge extra for the customizations of switching out the cheese on one of our sandwiches. The bread is kind of a focaccia? But I liked it. Had a soft chewiness.Overall, I feel that this is a better deal than any fast food place, and nearly as quick! Rather come here for better food! We sat indoors to eat, there are refillable sodas and the everything was very clean. Also, these were very comfortable chairs!“
“Great American Wagyu Roast Beef Sandwich. First time having a sandwich at Capriotti's, and since the cost is quite a bit more than anything at that other sub shop, then it had to be great. Glad to have another good option.Dropped the service to 4 stars since the place needed a good cleaning, and they didn't seem to be busy.“
“Great food. I was surprised by how yummy their sandwiches are. The staff is friendly and the food is really good. Eager to go backVegetarian options: They have one or two veggie sandwichesParking: The parking lot is in back and you need to pull a ticket, but they validate“
“Best Banh Mi sandwich in the valley phosure! The way it is supposed to be made, butter and pate with amazing pickled veggies. Throw some soy sauce on the bread and you are transported back to your childhood eating these sandwiches! Cant wait to try them all!“
“What a wonderful Jersey Mike's! It has excellent Customer Service thanks to the manager, Leilani, AND, the location is great! There are many places nearby that you can sit and eat your yummy sandwich! This is now my FAVORITE Jersey Mike's!“
