“Be sure to sign up for the waitlist as this local spot is super popular. The massive brunch menu has something for everyone. Love that there’s such a variety of traditional and Tex-mex brunch options to satiate your hunger in the morning!“

“This place is so cute!! I just loved it. The prices were fantastic, we had food for two and a side for a baby for less than 60$. We had Chan for our server and he was just great, left us alone but also was making sure we were taken care of. We would definitely come here again!“

“Finally made a stop by for breakfast. I have heard many people say it is good - I just hadn't had the time to check it out yet. I had the Southwest Chicken Sandwich and it was great. My wife had the Denver Omelette and she was it was delicious. Great spot for breakfast or lunch - highly recommend!“

“Yes yes yes! I wish I had one closer to my house! The Benedicts are fantastic! So much FLAVOR, perfectly cooked eggs, huge side of hash browns! The Crab Benedict has an amazing Jalapeno jam on it that was so good! Servers are all great, even though it was super busy.“

“This new-ish (open less than a year) Roberto's in Santee is located on the edge of our neighborhood. We don't even have to take a major thoroughfare to get to it. We become victims of habit when it comes to our to-go Mexican food. We finally remembered this place. Located in the corner of a 7/11 anchored strip mall on the corner of Cuyamaca and Mast, on a hill. The parking lot can get a bit messy at times. The 7/11 has a gas station which makes the entry/exit a little more difficult. I called to place our order for pick-up. (I'm not going to deduct a star because their website sucks). The girl who I spoke with was pleasant. She said my order would be ready in five minutes. Perfect. It takes two to get there from our house. For Becky it was the Carne Asada Plate with flour tortillas. I chose the Carnitas Plate (no guac) with corn tortillas. I also ordered a Fish Taco for myself. The carne asada was very, very good. Seasoned well and tender. No fatty or gristly chunks. Quality carne asada. Served with very good refried beans and rice. Excellent flour tortillas as well. I loved the carnitas. Lots of big flavorful chunks. Nice and crispy exterior with tender, delicious pork inside. Really good. The corn tortillas were great. The fish taco was fantastic. The perfectly breaded filet filled the doubled-up corn tortillas from end to end. It was nicely dressed with "Baja sauce", pico and cabbage. If you dine in there are a few tables inside and a little 4-seat bar with four tap handles. When I was visited they had Pacifico, Modelo, Sculpin and Coors Light on tap, although no one was manning the bar. I didn't see any pricing, but bottled beers were $3 each. Solid food and super convenient for us. Yep, we're going back.“

“Ahhh mazing food, service, drinks and atmosphere. Went on a Sunday morning around 11:30. Wait was about 20 minutes for 4. Took a bit for our server to come by, but someone else came and got our drink orders. We got corn beef hash, chicken fried steak, eggs Benedict, and a senior meal for food. Bloody Mary was delicious and not spicy. The pancakes were so delicious! All the food was huge portions and so yummy! Our server, Mary was fun and attentive! Will definitely be back when I am back in town!“

“Went on a Friday morning and got seated outside. The server took a while to get to us. We didn't get water or drink orders in for about 10 minutes. Maybe we were a little bit early, and they were still setting up? It's still not great when you don't get served for 10 minutes. There was a table with what seemed like regulars, and they had a dog with them on the patio, and they seemed to get very good service, and almost all the servers approached them. The food was good. I ordered the crab cake bennie, and the taste was spot on. My only complaint was that it was cold. It seemed like they did not take the time to warm up the crab cake. Everyone else in the family enjoyed their meals and no complaints from them.I would go back and breakfast there again. It seemed like a really cool locals spot, and if you were a regular, they would definitely treat you very well.“

“My large extended family and I recently had a reunion. At the end of the trip, twenty of us really wanted to go out for a final breakfast together, but it was St. Patrick's Day, we all had flights to catch, time was tight and we hadn't made breakfast reservations. We called Broken Yolk, not really thinking we had any chance to get in, and we were informed that they could accommodate us on their patio. Fifteen minutes later, all twenty adults and children were seated on their patio, and we were surrounded by helpful, friendly wait staff who took our orders, and then delivered beautiful, delicious food in record time. They came back to refill drinks, to see if we had everything we needed, and we were able to have our last meal together and make it to the airport on time. I was impressed. Kudos and our thanks to the cooks and wait staff at the Carmel Mountain Broken Yolk.“

“I ordered a spinach and mushroom omelette. It was enormous, and delicious. The downside was it took my waitress 15 minutes to bring me coffee. So long another waiter came by with it 5 minutes earlier. Still, I was there for 10 minutes, in the morning, without coffee.“

“I remember this restaurant from Las Vegas growing up. The original burned down so I was happy to be visiting and come to this one. As I remembered the food was delicious, especially the pancakes and they give you plenty of it. The service was also as I remembered, excellent!“
