“Food was delicious! We ordered the chef's specialty, scallops with risotto and vegetables. There were only three scallops, but they were very big and cooked perfectly, as was the risotto. Vegs were fresh and cooked al dente, which we like. Seriously, everything was amazingly delicious! It was a high-end dinner, and we paid a high-end price. But the price did fit the quality of the food. Service was good, and we got our meal quickly.“

“Very quick service. Sandy was super helpful since I’ve never been here to this location and only had their food one other time. The salmon was a bit bland but cooked well (I must have got a different one last time I came) the mashed potatoes and asparagus were delicious“

“Met some new girlfriends. Had a fab time at the wine gallery. Amazing staff service and atmosphere. Owners are pretty amazing. The quaint atmosphere is like from the show "Cheers" feels very homey cozy and like everyone knows your name. The owner suggested a bottle noir. I've never had a noir that smooth...and without a hang over the next day. And then the food is off the charts. I literally ate till my stomach was going to explode. I just couldn't stand leave even 1 slice of the gluten free mushroom pizza. It's didn't even taste gluten free. How do they do that ??“

“Great food, nice atmosphere with music. Not cheap, though. An appetizer, salad, (shared), two drinks, two meals - not steak- bill was &220.00 before tip. I think they added $10 for the music. I am not complaining, I knew going in it would be a bit pricey. Just letting others know what to expect.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in Orange County. The food and service are always 10/10. Today on Mother's Day I had a 1pm reservation for my mom and I. We arrived a bit early and were seated immediately. I understand the crowds for Mother's Day, but we were definitely being rushed. We sat around 12:55, immediately ordered drinks and were prompted to order immediately. We hadn't looked at the menu so the server left and came back about 3 minutes later. We ordered our food just after 1pm and it came out just after 1:10. So incredibly fast that. Too fast. We were trying to enjoy our day. When we slowed down eating (but didn't have empty plates) we were asked probably 3 times if we were done. We ended up staying to have more beers and order dessert. In the end it was fine but we felt as though they maybe overbooked reservations and were trying to turn tables. I have never felt like this at Coastal kitchen in the past.“

“Bloom is the #1 spot for brunch! I love the location, the food, and the ambiance! The people who work there are also exception, especially our server, Makenzie! She was friendly and informative about the dishes. I highly recommend the waffles! Will definitely visit again “

“For many years was my favorite place in town. I would give it five stars, but they no longer have the blue cheese, bacon burger that I so desire. The art there is amazing and affordable. It's a real kick ass place to relax. The people that worked there are very nice. And if you can find Captain Frank you will have a loyal friend for the rest of your life.“

“Happened upon this place by chance while looking for vegetarian/vegan options and all I can say is that it did not disappoint at all!!! The food was so good! Every single dish that my husband and I tried ( he’s not vegetarian/vegan) was incredible, we had the dips with bread and veggies and I had the fried eggplant and the falafel while hubby had the beef kebabs and we ended with coffee and sticky toffee pudding (yum) we now have a new place to go for future lunches and dinners. It was THAT GOOD! Service was great, our waiter was Knowledgeable and attentive.. we really enjoyed it ( can’t you tell ha) and will be returning soon!“

“What a lovely late lunch experience. Visiting family and arrived late looking for a bite to eat after a long drive. This was perfect, I love the concept of the box, and I ordered the recommended pulled pork (on gluten free bun) with 3 sides (spiced green beans, roasted carrots, seasonal salad). I thought everything was delicious. All the dishes had a home made quality to it which I adored. Vegetables tasted fresh (although carrots and beans were a bit over charred IMO, but the flavor was still yummy). The dressings and sauces complimented their respective dishes. I loved the gluten free bun as it was served warm, and the dough was light and fluffy. If I'm back in the area again I'll definitely be back.“

“I don’t typically leave reviews, like ever. But I gotta say this place was such a treat. We came across it randomly and were drawn in by the photos of the brunch, and oh man did it not disappoint. The staff were incredible thoughtful and nice, and while ordering the owner (amazing woman) overheard me trying to decide between two options and was kind enough to point me in the right direction. I decided to get the breakfast burrito, but chose not to upgrade the meat to the steak because of the 10$ price difference. The owner caught us sitting outside and asked me what I went with, when I told her I had gone with the standard breakfast burrito she told me she was going to upgrade it to the steak FOR FREE! I’m not kidding when I say this was the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in years! Food was amazing, coffee was amazing, service and atmosphere were top notch. The owner was so passionate and focused on our experience, she went above and beyond for us! Thank you!!!!“

“Went on a Saturday night. Fairly busy, but not too crowded. It was just 2 of us, so we ordered drinks and played ping pong while we waited for a pool table to open up. Had to wait about 10 min. Server was very kind, bartender was busy and direct. Overall it was a clean place with decent tables and cheap drinks. You pay hourly for the tables. Would come back again.“

“This could be my new favorite spot, for meeting up with friends for a delicious meal. We met on a Sunday at 10:30, sat on the patio which was covered and shady but also with heaters. We had breakfast and I loved my avocado toast, I added a fried egg on top and it was perfect. Really peaceful & pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful view of the golf course, where we could hear each other talk. Really enjoyable, definitely will be going back!“

“I have now been here a couple of times on my travels down to southern Orange County. The service is outstanding. My bartenders were very attentive without being pushy. The food is great too. A better value than what I used to in Santa Barbara. I will be back. It had just the right feel for me. A lot of TVs with unobstructed views and it was very casual and comfortable. The crowd was a solid mix of old and young people.“

“Great small restaurant with delicious food for affordable price. It was really cool to find this place during my Christmas shopping in Spectrum Mall. The service was fast, although there were many people. You should try their sandwiches, they taste great, especially when they’re warm.“

“I'm impressed with the many selections of entrees on their menu and the drink options as well. I ordered the veggie egg scramble (with egg whites) which came with potatoes and a yummy homemade biscuit. The house margarita was very good too but was a little small for me and on the saltier side. I love that the portions are generous and that when I asked for pico de gallo they returned with a big portion of that as well. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles entree, and although I am unable to enjoy dishes like hers I looked over and drooled a little. Lol Best part is our server was amazing!! John was so accommodating and always checked on us. His drink service was top tier.“

“Let me tell you about these people. First, the burger and fries made me eat my words about California burgers (I’m from Texas). I was talking mad sh@!, but that burger…double patties gift from the Gods. It’s got a kick to it. I’d rate about medium heat. I loved it. The fries were crispy perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. As good as all of that was, the kindest, most thoughtful staff was better than all that. “We needed to find a place last minute to host a small baptism dinner in Dana point and we are from SanDiego area, I was looking online and found this Gem!!! Not only were they accommodating and very patient the whole staff there were great!! They were all happy and polite. The food came out at perfect timing. All the guests were happy and kept saying how they enjoyed themselves. The food was Delicious (prosciutto flatbread) was my favoritethe desserts were good too! The prices were very reasonable The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. The restaurant has a pleasant sit down style layout with more cushy seats on the far wall, but we weren’t just looking for a place for its looks. Our cashier took our orders with lightning speed and we got our food in less than 10 minutes with 5 ppl ordering. Service to get seated was *chef’s kiss*. Wife ordered the steak chimichurri sando with home made buns and I got the keto salad with extra meat. HIT THE SPOT. After nearing food coma, we brought our plates back to its storage home for clean up near the exit, and went back home on our merry way. Would I come back here? You darn right I will.Let’s go!!“

“The brunch is excellent! The brunch serves breakfast as well as lunch items so if you stay long enough you get two meals out of it. Last week they had prime rib! The bottomless mimosas are actually very good - they don't taste like the cheap stuff. I can't wait to invite friends to discover this place and will for sure be coming here regularly.“

Yes it's not a trendy upscale place but I found it refreshing to see older crowd having so much fun dancing singing audience participation was there even someone jumped in and played a sax.
