“Some of the best pizza in Redding. I love that it's wood-fired. Really gives it more flavor. The location is kinda right with the ice cream parlor so it's not super open, more like cafeteria seating, but great if you're going out with friends for a quick bite! They're usually pretty quick to get your food to you unless it's busy, in which case you can only fit so many pizzas in one over lol“
“By far the friendliest bar! This bar has something for everyone. Karaoke, live music, great wines, beers and drinks and yummy bar food! I recommend the garlic parmesean wings! The outdoor patio is great and it's in an awesome location! The owners are pretty rad too!“

And the best part about it is the fact that if you are buying a large any topping pizza you can say a quick poem " like a 4 liner" sing a song or scream shasta pizza is the best pizza place ever or you can tell the worker a riddle about pizza. And vualla you get another large pizza of any topping“
“This place I would come back to if I want to have a couple drinks and eat a little. The garlic balls were pretty good just wish they had a bit of cheese in them and the pizza was also pretty good. The wings were not my favorite, I would compare them to wings you'd get at like round table or dominos. The people who attended us were pretty nice and easygoing. The place was a little dark but overall if you just want a drink and a small bite I'd recommend this place but Im not sure about having a full meal here I would have to try it again.“
“If I could give 10 stars I would. I love the pizza. It's absolutely incredible and tasty! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and reminds me of pizza parlors from my childhood. My kids love going there and playing games while they wait for food. The staff is friendly and the service... It's just as good as the food. Who salad bar is large and even has tofu!“
“Good pizza for a good price and you do not have to wait half an hour for it to be ready. You get it hot right out of the oven. And its done to what your specify.When I walked in I wasn't sure what to expect the first time I ate at this chain. But the employee's were all super nice. You pick your pizza from the start to finish and they custom make it for you, right in front of you. By time you pay, get your drink and sit down, the pizza is ready just a few minutes later.And I love the Marion berry lemonade!They also make their own version of a Ding Dong and its so tasty.“
“Used the online menu to order a pizza to go. Unfortunately upon arrival we found that they'd prepared the wrong pizza (pineapple??? yikes!), one that wasn't even on their menu. Anyway they were very gracious and made a new, corrected version and my goodness, it was great! Definitely recommend Maxwell's if you're looking for a good pizza. Second time was a charm. We've eaten pizza there several times before ; this was our first to go order. Go figure. “
“Attended a 3yr olds birthday party today. I hadn't been here in years. The quality of the pizza has certainly declined. I'd suggest bringing in Little Caesars but they won't allow it.On the other hand the child had a blast! It was a good environment for kids, and at least the salad bar was satisfying. Also the parking lot is entirely too small for the restaurant.“
“I was on a biz trip in Redding and wanted some Pizza. Came to Shasta Pizza and met the nicest people. A gentleman that looked a bit down on his luck came in trying to buy what he could. I offered to have a couple pieces of the pizza I ordered wrapped in foil and given to him, no big deal I could not eat it all! The guy behind the counter said, he would do me one better, and hooked the guy up with some food. That makes me realize just how much good some people can do and truly are! I recommend this place, not only because the pizza is very good, but because the PEOPLE there are very good!“
“We went there for Valentine’s Day, and had the most amazing time that I could remember in recent history. The service was incredible and so was the food and wine pairing. The attention to detail is second to none and there are no comparable restaurants in the area. “This is my favorite bar in Redding. They have a huge selection of beers, seltzers, and ciders. They make a bunch of great drinks like their iconic ice berg, and I love their espresso martini. Their food is delicious my favorite being the charcuterie and the pizza dip, my moms obsessed with the stuffed avocado salad. Jake and Julian treat me like their family. “The vegetarian options are great. I don't know how that impossible artichoke pizza works but it is amazing. The portions are fair for the price and the slices are cut small for easy portioning.The only ding is that the space really is set up as a carry out or delivery restaurant. There is not much space in the customer waiting area but that you see is clean and well maintained.Vegetarian options: The classic vegetarian pizza is flavorful and has a great mix of vegetables. The artichoke pizza has odd toppings but somehow it works.“

Minus the french fries, I recommend double frying em, changing the oil or just over seasoning them; my mom orders weekly from y'all. Change the ff style or something, she might not cook again. They're just not cooked thoroughly, season and crunch'ify em, you could make em into a new side/lunch item with cheese and stuffs. Either way, you rock and thanks for being a local favorite.“
“I dislike restaurants asking for a tip during a pre-purchase, you never know how the food or service will be.This is one of those places where a tip for food and service is deserved. Food was awesome, pizza had toppings to the edge, salad bar was stocked, and fresh. Beer was cold and fresh tasting. Lobby was clean, and tables bussed. Order was spot on.
