This place is a throwback. Friendly and welcoming. Lots of food options but all very average to below average. It's worth a visit for the cafeteria style experience and the ambience, but if you're looking for quality Bavarian fare, you better look elsewhere.
It was pouring down rain and it was wonderful to go in and sit by a warm fireplace! We went to the buffet. The turkey was carved from the cooked bird in front of us. Had the typical sides but oh so many other sides to choose from. I'm not a gravy fan but I requested a small amount. Was given what I thought was a lot but I have to tell you I ate every drop of that gravy and used my bread roll to mop up the last bits of it . Everything I ate was wonderful.
