“This is another amazing 3- Michelin-star experience in the Bay Area. It is quite impressive that a lot of the ingredients are seasonal and from their farm. The menu is heavily influenced by Japanese cuisines, so there are a lot of high quality fresh fish and vegetables. Their "first course" was the best for me. It consisted of 12 mini appetizers that were insanely delicious. The mushroom rice before desserts was another highlight as well. Service and ambiance are top-notch. Single Thread is well worth a trip to Healdsburg.”

“Many restaurants offer a great dining experience. Some are able to deliver a wonderful experience. Few give you everything and more. We've had Guiso Latin Fusion on our list for a long time. We finally made it, and we're speechless with delight. Seating inside is limited due to size. There is outside seating with patio heaters. Size matters as this added to the ambiance. The menu is also small. But, don't that mislead you. It is filled with treasures and surprises. Most menu items are meant to share. Our server was attentive and guided us to spectacular treats. The food has origins in El Salvador and comes from the imagination of the head chef. The presentation was masterful. The flavors were what we can only dream of - awesome! Meats were cooked to perfection and tender. We spent about $50 each for two. This was more than fair. If you want a unique dining experience and love fantastic food, this is your place.”

“We had a great prix fixe meal of 3 courses but the also offer 5 courses. No bad selections except for the cauliflower steak. I don’t think that is worth a steak or shrimp pasta but that is my opinion. Outdoor dining is available and they have heaters by the wall of sliding windows that open up totally he outside. Awesome deserts. I had the cookie butter cheesecake. I died and went to heaven.”

We were shocked to see the salad portion half the size it used to be, and the mushroom-cauliflower-squash veggie pizza had so very few vegetables, some cauliflower and mushroom pieces so tiny we couldn't see them. “Now, my favorite restaurant in Healdsburg. The menu is varied but short: 1 fish, 1 red meat, 1 pork, 1 fowl, 1 vege, and a chef's choice, as is the by-the-glass wine list. The bottled wine list is extensive. The service, the presentation, the food was, in a word, "perfect." The appetizers are imaginative. I loved the caviar served with creme fresh and seared threads of leaks. The duck breast was the best I have ever had: pink and warm on the inside with the skin seared to a crust with essentially no fat. The deserts were hard to choose from. We could tell that the staff, including the chef and owner are all proud of what they have and do. Expensive but not the most expensive in town. We are looking forward to going back.”

“We (4 four adults) went to dinner. We always enjoy the food here and love the sweet owners. We had the Insalata Baci, Insalata Cesare, Ravioli con Piselli (so good), Capellini al Pomodoro with a side of chicken, Vitello Parmigiana e Spaghetti Bolognese, Risotto con Funghi with a side of chicken and a couple of desserts. The food and service was great!”

“Stopped in for a quick tasting and to pick up a couple bottles of the Sav blanc. Ian was so helpful and gave us the exact right amount of information without pressuring us into wine clubs. We were in a hurry and didn’t intend to do a tasting but he gave us a couple samples and helped me select a couple bottles we hadn’t tried before. Dry creek has an amazing indoor and outdoor set up that I highly recommend if you’re in the area! Definitely suggest asking for Ian and having a glass of wine or tasting!”

“A wonderful family run winery with excellent service and excellent wine. We were lucky enough to attend a wine and chocolate pairing which was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend a visit to Spicy Vines. You will not find another tasting experience like this one.”

“This is truly a special bakery!!! Amazing pastries, cakes, and artisan bread! I still have to grab a few of the pastries. I recently have the spinach quiche and this was the best I’ve ever had, so fresh, soft, pillowy, and melted in my mouth, the crust was flaky and baked perfectly. The croissants are also my favorite, buttery. The strawberry mouse cake was so good, it wasn’t too sweet, I could eat the whole cake! Grabbed a few artisan bread, olive bread, baguette, and Danish rye are among my faves. This is Parisian Boulangerie in Healdsburg!”

“Not only was at the best, gluten-free scone I’ve ever had in my life, it was the best scone I have ever had in my life in general! Blueberries and orange icing on it was amazing, the workers there were so welcoming and lovely. My iced latte was delicious, and I totally went to this place on a whim, but I will definitely be going back! It was also exciting to see that on St. Patrick’s Day they had gluten free Irish soda bread, and it was also delicious! It is not celiac friendly; however, if you don’t mind Cross contamination and are just gluten intolerant I definitely recommend this place! Or if anything stop by for the coffee/tea!”

“When you pull up and look at the building, it's a bit of a head-scratcher. It's very non-de script, with a couple apartments as part of it. The small restaurant is upstairs, and Larry, the owner, is as nice as can be. Larry is hard to miss -- he's the 7' tall guy in the room. :-) I went for prime rib night and both the food and drinks were great. It's a pleasant little space with a dedicated bar on one side.”
