Experience Rohnert Park's Mexican food at these fantastic spots.
“Absolutely Love El Rancho!!! Their food is fast, delicious, and we have never had a bad experience ordering our food. They make substitutions for meats and are generous with their portions and their care of our orders! Highly Recommended!!!“
“I came here to try the birria ramen and it was delicious! The server was happy to tell us about their most popular dishes for next time (and there will be a next time). The chips were served with salsa and a bean dip. The bean dip left us wanting more. The birria ramen did not disappoint. It was quite the serving and the garnishes gave it so much flavor. The spicy salsa enhanced all the flavors. The server told us it would do so, and he was right. It's a small place with tv's. They play music which I enjoyed very much. They do not serve alcohol. Parking is easy in the lot. Although it's a small restaurant, I noticed a lot of takeout, which is always a good sign.“
“It's not fancy but it IS tasty. I've eaten here a couple times and the staff is always friendly and the food has been great. It's a bit tucked away but worth a go when you're in the area. They do mexican food and some other genres. But I've been happy with everything I've ordered to date.“
“Food great, service was fast but the atmosphere was not that great especially that there was some kind of construction going on by the bathrooms. And some of the customers dinning in were very dirty mouth talkers. No respect at all to their surroundings.“
“I've lived in RP for a few years now and always saw this place but never went to it. My son was begging for a burrito and all the places around are not that good and I saw this place got great reviews.so went grocery shopping and as I was finishing up I called to place a pickup order. The really sweet girl on the phone was so nice and told me 10 to 15 min. Perfect. Finished my shopping checked out and then went right in and yes had to wait a min there was a line. I wish they had more salsa the bar was pretty empty at that time.. but amazing green and red salsa! Burritos were great size. Great price and bothe the chicken and carnitas were so good. Good service when I picked up and was looking at the menu while I waited and I wish I would have got the crispy tacos...I will be back soon I wanna try a few things. This place his a hidden gem of the city. I'll be back soon!“
“Food and service was very good. Highly recommend. However, making reservations on line was very restrictive. Open Table reservations only had reservations available at 5:00 P. M. which was not our best choice. Yet, as we had dinner at 5 and finished dinner at 7, there were an abundance of empty tables at all times!!“
“We heard about the Taco Tuesday Special from a pal of mine and decided to come in the last two weeks for the deal. The atmosphere had a very welcoming feel especially since the Cashier was very nice and patient explaining which tacos were available for the special. My buddy said that the salsas were the best part and my concern was if my kids could try them because my kiddos don't like spicy. The other cashier despite the big rush stopped to explain which ones they could try(I loved the orange salsa) but yesterday(March 12th) when we came in we were surprised to see a different set of cashiers who weren't as available and patient as last time.My Kids tacos also came with cilantro, onion, and salsa on them when I asked for only meat on them since my kids like the other red salsa.I hope that next time my family and I come in we get treated with the same patience and kindness as the first time(March 5th).“
“My bestfriend and I went here for the first time and we got our food to go. It is AMAZING. The queso is GAS, the rice is GAS. Our food was so warm and made our tummys happy. We are def going here again. The service was also amazing. slayyyyyy“
“This is gonna be the first Taqueria. I've been to in a very long time that mixes their ingredients for your burrito before wrapping it in a tortilla. This ensured that each bite had equal portions consistent flavor etc. not sure if this is a regular thing for these guys but mine was mixed up and tasted very good consistently throughout the burrito.“
“Maybe I'm just in a good mood lately, but when something really hits the spot, I just want to say Thank You! and file away the destination for a next time...or a bunch of next times. We hit El Fogon, because we're cruising to an Escape Room nearby, and I liked the photos on their website better than any other taquerias. It was a good call. We just had tacos, so I can't comment on anything else. Barbacoa is only Friday s and Saturdays we were told, so 2 chicken, 2 de lengua, y 4 (un orden) de quesabirria. The other tacos were OK. But the quesabirria - man, just as pretty as the picture. Crispy shell, juicy meat filling, just right amount of cheese. The birria sauce was melt in the mouth. Abuela knows her stuff: rich, not greasy, not too spicy. You just want to keep going. No wonder they called 4 tacos 'an order.' It wouldn't be any challenge to tuck away 2 orders. Mmm mmm mmm. Nice people, comfy seating, intimate little joint. Good salsas aparte. Loving it.“
“We visited on a beautiful Monday afternoon and enjoyed their outdoor seating. Our server was lovely and the owner went out of his way in more ways than one. We were treated like 5 star guests. Attentive service, delicious food, and a diverse menu. PS: We saw the presumed owner helping an elderly man order food and walk to a safe spot near the restaurant. All expectations were exceeded and my boyfriend and I can't say enough!“
