“The noodle dishes were very good! We had a largish group, so we tried the first three soups on the menu and a couple of the dry noodle dishes, which were all Delicious. The chicken skewers were all bone and not worth the trouble of eating. The lamb skewers were tasty but greasy. I liked the cumin-heavy seasoning a lot.“
“Great coming back to our new fave KBBQ spot. Prefer it much more than Gen. Love the “butcher style” vibes and how they cook for you. Great cuts of meat!!! Gio, Calvin, Devin were great hosts. Super consistent across diff locations. Highly recommend this place.“
“We love Cham Sut Gol. The people are so nice!!!!! The quality of the beef was so nice and the bonchon were flavorful and they were always ready to refill it. Our eyes were hungrier than our bellies so we took quite a long time finishing dinner but the people never rushed us out. We will be coming back next time we need a kbbq fix.“
“Yesterday was Good Friday. My family and I had originally planned to go have dinner at Grab Crab, but the wait was outrageously long. I believe that when I checked in, we had 18 people ahead of us. So, instead, we decided to go Sosom Ramen Bar & Bossam. Luckily, when we got here, it was nice and empty. We got seated right away, and the order was taken really quickly. This was our second time coming to this place. The first time we came, I dont remember much, but we decided to come back anyway. This round was much rememberable. The waiter was on top of everything, making sure we had refills on our water and gave us extra sides. He checked up on us multiple times to see if we needed anything else. Honestly, the food was just perfect. Like 10 min into our dinner, the restaurant started to fill up. The vibe with the customer everyone enjoyed their food. If you want to try Bossam, this is going to place. I don't think they will let you down. Meat is super tender, and the sauce is yummy. Just writing this makes my mouth water.“
“Don’t order the grilled chicken! ! ! The skewers are all delicious, the beef and mutton are grilled with the aroma of fat, the New Orleans flavor is full, and the tinfoil series are also great. The chicken is cold when it comes out, and the taste is amazing.“
“Place has lunch special everyday (weekends and holidays included) from 11:30-3pm. Plus an additional 10% for review per person during spring season. In terms of value for the food, it's good. The service was good in the morning. One of the server saw that our pork belly had too much fat and she was kind enough to remove it and offer another set. For the price and the food selection, I think this is worth it to eat if you wanna save and want decent variety. I wouldn't necessary go out of the way for it but if you're nearby, why not! Overall experience 4/5. Update: in the end, they gave complimentary ice cream lol“
“I've never been to any other skewer restaurant and came to this place twice within a week or so, so this is a review based on that background info. The restaurant is located on the second floor of Pearl Plaza. Your best bet at parking during peak hours is in the parking structure to the right of the plaza. The door to the restaurant is a bit hidden and just looks like a wooden wall but when you get closer to it, it opens automatically like a sliding door. The first time I came was around 7:30 pm on a Thursday night (party of 5) and the second time was around 4:30 pm on a Sunday (party of 3). We didn't have a reservation the first time because it was an impromptu decision to eat there and we were seated right away. I made a reservation for the second time just in case and was also seated right away because the restaurant was empty at the time. Each table comes with roasted peanuts and two types of dipping salts/spices for each person. They have plenty of different types of skewers to choose from so there's something for everyone. They also have appetizers and already cooked dishes you can order. It may seem like the skewers will take a long time to cook but it actually goes by fairly quickly. The servers were really attentive both times I went. I will say that it is a bit pricey compared to something similar like KBBQ since it's not all you can eat. Both times I spent about $40 something but you do leave extremely full. Definitely recommend a try!“
“This is a fantastic place for Korean seafood bbq. There is another place like this in Monterey Park called Clam House and the food and style are exactly the same. But this place has so much more space and they use their AC to keep it cool for patrons. So much better here. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes it's fast but last time we came, food came out very slow. Steamed egg and cheese corn and Korean pancake sides were all delicious. Good amount of food with all the grilled seafood, noodles, and sides.“
“On my way to Big Bear, we stopped by this restaurant. It's my first time having Korean BBQ and all I can say is that I am blown away! They give you side dishes that are delish, I really enjoyed this place and wish I lived closer to here! The service was outstanding even on a very busy night.“
