“Came down to Walnut to visit my family...and we were wondering what to eat .. In n out ? Happy wok? Casa Alvarez? McDonald's ? No more Colima Burger :( So I looked on yelp and scrolled down till I came upon Country Chicken & Taco Frank was nice and explained the menu... I would say pre order is best because it takes about 15-20 minutes ... they're delicious , we got the buffalo , garlic sauce, tacos , mozzarella sticks , Fries .. my family loved it all. Fed 5-6 people. Would go again.“
“Before our friends left the country, they gifted us with the beautiful taco knowledge that is this truck. Thanks Ian and Des! We're huge fans of taco trucks in general and this tops our list. There is another more popular one in the area but we feel this one beats it for sure. Prices are reasonable and the Tripa (request extra crispy) is delicious and is our favorite. Carne Asada is our second favorite along with Carnitas. When you ask for everything it may or may not come with these yumm grilled onions if they have it available. More likely they'll have it about an hour into their opening as we've gone super late at night as well as right when they opened. The Red sauce is no joke and we've learned to avoid it and use the green sauces to save our tongues. This is just one of those places that we could eat weekly for sure. Yum!“
“My friend and I were craving tacos tonight and found this taco truck. We got 5 asada tacos for ~ $11. The meat was flavorful and came with a side of grilled onions, fresh cucumbers & radishes. Fast service and very clean! Located next to a plaza so ample parking spaces. Can't wait to come back another time to try other items! :)“
“Stopped by this place after church on Sunday. It was very good. It's a small establishment with a great menu. We ordered menudo and a chorizo burrito. The menudo was some of the best around. Lots of hominy and meat. The broth was delicious. No fat. The burrito was great. Had the option of beans or eggs and potato. Went with the potatoes. It was on a homemade tortilla and was well seasoned. Watch out for the salsa. The green was a little hotter than I expected. Try it out.“
“"Thanks to the morning, afternoon and evening/night Crew(s) at my favorite local Jack-In-The-Box in Rowland Heights!" "They all work so hard to ensure that my dining experience is always EXCELLENT!" "Thank you...Rocio(Rosie), Christina, Evelyn and of course, Carolina!"?“
“Everything we tried here is beyond delicious and we tried almost everything on the menu! I wish I had more stomach space because the flavor is top notch. The Bulgogi taco is different from anything I've ever tried but the meat just melts in your mouth! The asada and pollo were delicious but the al pastor, shrimp and birria tacos were the stars of the show for us! Perfect flavor combinations and definitely not your average taco- and this is coming from a Mexicana lol. The service is also amazing. The guys are ready to serve with a friendly smile and offer suggestions. The space is clean and offers ample seating. Overall we loved it here and will definitely be back next time we're in the area!“
“Single-handedly one of the best taco spots in all of Orange County. Not only is the food delicious but the service is top-notch. Whenever I go in there the lines are quick staff is friendly and there is always gentleman named Carlos running around greeting people making sure everyone is enjoying their food. I always look forward to coming here.“
“I got the birria quesadilla and it was really good! I had already eaten some of the quesadilla in the picture but the portion size was huge. It came with console, salsa, lime and cilantro. I would definitely come back and the gentlemen working there was very friendly :)“
“Bomb bomb bomb ass tacos! So happy we decided to try this place. We ordered a couple fish tacos, a couple shrimp tacos, a papa taco, requeson, and bean taco with an horchata and nothing disappointed. The sauce and the yellow chiles were the cherry on top. I'm glad this place is just a delivery away.“
“I grew up in Arcadia so I was raised going to Taco Treat. This place must be doing something right, as it is probably the longest surviving business and most all of the area, or at least that I know of and I am 67 years old. Great burgers, love their corn dogs and fried burritos. Always good food“
“All I can say is.... WOW!! Come try the food here because it is delicious and FULL of flavor. Usually you expect the same cookie cutter flavor for tacos/burritos/etc but not here. You will find true flavor and quality here. I wasn't the one to pick up our food today but they even tossed in complimentary hot chocolate with our order so I can only imagine how welcoming and friendly the service must be. Would definitely order from again, thank you!“
“We go to Mi Casita about once a week - everyone who works there is so friendly and efficient and the food is delicious. The tacos, the fajitas and especially the Mi Casita molcajete are great and I love the blended margaritas. I just left and I already can't wait to go back!“
“# 129 Review for 2024 ***A Culinary Journey: Authenticity, Tradition, and Flavor Explosion at Tacos Los Palomos*** Overall 5 Stars***** If there's a sacred haven for taco enthusiasts, Tacos Los Palomos is it. Nestled in East LA, this gem embodies the essence of Mexican street food culture. As a self-proclaimed taco inspector, stumbling upon this treasure was a stroke of luck, unraveling a tapestry of flavors that transported me to the heart of culinary authenticity. What sets these taco trucks apart is their unwavering commitment to tradition. It's not just about tacos; it's a testament to preserving heritage, using time-honored recipes and seasonings that make each bite an homage to Mexican street cuisine. The sheer variety of flavors--Lengua, Buche, Tripa, Suadero, and Cueritos--each bursting with its own distinct taste, left an indelible mark on my taste buds. But let's talk about the salsa, specifically the chipotle; it deserves its own accolades. It's not just a condiment; it's a flavor symphony that elevates every taco to a divine experience. Yet, beyond the culinary prowess, these taco trucks serve as a conduit to nostalgia and cultural roots. They transcend the realm of mere dining; they're gateways to cherished memories and a taste of home. Each bite feels like a reunion with flavors that resonate with a deep sense of belonging. Tacos Los Palomos isn't just a taco truck; it's an emblem of community, tradition, and an odyssey through the rich tapestry of Mexican culinary heritage. In a world where authenticity often gets diluted, this place stands tall as a beacon of genuine flavors and cultural significance. In short, if you seek not just a meal but an expedition into the soul of Mexican street cuisine, Tacos Los Palomos deserves not just five stars but a standing ovation for keeping the flame of tradition alive in every savory taco they serve.“
“Having been a loyal patron for years, I can confidently say that not only does this taco truck serve delicious food, but the staff is always incredibly nice and welcoming. Whether it's my go-to asada burrito or trying something new from their menu, the quality and service remain consistently excellent. I love it!“
“It was my first time going, especially after seeing the reviews. The food was really good and pricing also. BUT my only complaint is that the girl employee was clearly on something. I was trying to enjoy my food but all I could notice was her erratic behavior, then her sister came in another strange character. I left feeling icky and the experience was not comfortable for customers seeing that sort of situation.“
“La verdad la comida estaba muy rica! Disfrutamos mucho de los burritos de carnitas. Este establecimiento queda recomendado! Los precios también son muy razonables! Todo está limpio por dentro y lo atienden a uno con mucho cariño! ****** Delicious pork burritos here. We enjoyed the food and the restaurant was clean. The staff was very welcoming and I am for sure returning on my next day off to try another burrito.“
“Delicious tacos. Stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty quiet and not a lot of people at the time so I was worried the food may not be too good but that was definitely not the case. Delicious fresh tasting food and excellent service. Everyone working was very friendly.“
“Tried the Two Fish Taco plate with rice and beans. The fish was really fresh and hot. The salsas were good. The red one is kinda hot and the green one is on the milder side. They also give you chips and salsa. The combo comes with a drink but if you want an agua fresca they charge another $1.25. I had the pineapple and it was really good. A great quality meal for a great price! I would love to try the ceviche next time.Parking: This restaurant is in a strip mall shopping complex so there is plenty of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap parking spots and ramps to get up on the curb. Inside is kind of small and may be a little hard to maneuver if it's during one of the busier times of the day like lunch and dinner.“
“These guys make some of the best tacos in town . I tried the Volcan taco that is delicious their quesadillas . Tacos in general their delicious I highly recommended to all my friends and family already . Also the guys there are very great with people . Their good“
“Tried this place for the first time about a week ago. We really enjoyed it so we came back. Seating inside is limited about 6 tables, and some barstool seating. We had the shrimp ceviche, the mango shrimp ceviche, a potato taco and some regular tacos. Food tastes fresh and was pretty packed for a “
“Food is great from here. It seems like a simple taco stand but it isn't. They are super friendly and try to go as fast as they can to go through the line. Never had a problem with problem even if it is on the street haven't found a problem. The top choices I like to choose are pastor, lengua, and asada. The lengua is different here since it doesn't have that chewiness that other places have and is super tender. The pastor is a gold char and marinate and the asada has a nice flavor from the grill. They have raw onions and some cooked ones if you ask them for it. Definitely one of my go to spots if I want some tacos.“
“Love love love the cucadachaShrimp ....I'm sure I misspelled but all their shrimp are bomb and shrimp cocktails as well. My only complaint is Please UPDATE your online menu .....I ordered for my company and WOW we went off of the listed prices on menu on websiteDefinitely not updated , and increased by 2 to 3 dollars , I understand things are going up but then I as a customer should be able to count on the business to keep me updated on NEW PRICES , because your food is delicious ? people will still pay but kinda unfair to have that surprise when u get the final bill and it's 50 bucks more then calculated from online prices .Just a friendly suggestion, I love to refer people . Also small tacos not worth the price at all“
“First time here and we absolutely loved it. The food is very authentic and it feels like I’m at someone’s home eating home cooked food. My 18 month old daughter really liked the quesadilla with birria using a handmade flour tortilla. My husband ordered the torta ahogada and tacos de barbacoa estilo Guadalajara. I ordered two tacos de Carnitas and it was very delicious! The potato filling is soft and plenty. The carnitas are also very flavorful and filling. You can count on us coming back next time we’re in town.“
“I'm so mad...... at HOW GOOD THE FOOD IS !!!! every single food item I have tried is VERY flavorful and Delectable ! Delicious. You thought your mommas home made beans were good? Wait till you go here. OH! And please try the GREEN SALSA chicken enchiladas !! And REQUEST the avocado green salsa dip on the side !!! Thanks guys, see y'all next time!!“
“Came for Taco Tuesday, and they were $1.95 each for the regular meats. And they were so good! The tortillas had a slight crisp and the Asadas not dry, unlike other places. You can tell the meat was freshly cooked, and not left there sitting in a bin. The people working there were really sweet & attentive as well. I also liked how clean the place was. We definitely be back again!“
“I would rate this restaurant 10/10 , from the great service , yummy hot coffee , BOMB carne su jugo !! This place is it ! I've gone to a few other local restaurants but this place by far is my new favorite! My husband got the Birria with consome and 2 huevos , delicious! Thank you guys we will be returning:)“
“First time I ever tried this spot was in Newport Beach. I was so excited when they opened one in Brea- near my home. Great food and worth stopping by. Only negative I have to say is that ordering pick up is the same as ordering in. They don't have a separate online order pick up line. This place gets busy so it's extremely annoying to have to wait in line behind families when all you want to do is get your food before its cold.“
“Stumbled across this place on my way home. It has good amount of parking and a lot of seating outside to enjoy your food. I had an al pastor burrito and a asada burrito and both were fantastic! Most definitely coming back as the service was very good and the menu was diverse.“
“The beef ribs and the carne asada tacos are amazing. The tortillas are fresh and the meat is well seasoned. They grill everything right in front of you, and the smell is amazing. Well worth the price for the amount of amazing food you get. The people are also super friendly and will give you recommendations if you’re stuck on what to pick. I always recommend this place to anyone looking for street tacos.Parking: Be kind and park out of the way of flowing traffic. People pile up on the merging lane to Washington. Find a safe place to park and walk.“
“Woof, fellow foodie friends! I recently had the chance to sink my teeth into some scrumptious treats at a unique taco stand called Ruby's Tacos, nestled inside a liquor store. As a connoisseur of fine flavors and a four-legged food critic, I'm here to share my bark-tastic experience!First things first, let's talk about the star of the show: the carne asada tacos. Woof, these were absolute tail-waggers! Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, each bite was like a fiesta in my mouth. The perfectly seasoned and grilled meat paired beautifully with the warm, soft tortillas. My taste buds were doing the happy dance! The portions were generous too, ensuring I had enough to savor every delicious morsel. Now, let's not forget about the chorizo! Oh, my dogness, it was a symphony of flavors! The spicy kick of the chorizo made me feel in doggy heaven. I couldn't help but wag my tail with delight as I devoured these mouthwatering treats. If you're a fan of bold and zesty flavors, this chorizo will have you barking for more!Grab a leash, bring your human companions, and embark on a delightful culinary adventure!Remember, my furry friends, be sure to share your tacos with your humans (if they're good) and keep the barks of joy echoing through the neighborhood. Bon appétit, amigos!Paws and kisses,Maddie D. Dog“
“**Five Stars for Tacos Don Cuco: A Flavor Explosion!**#11 Review for 2024# 432 Review All Time!!This taco stand is an absolute gem! The flavors are sensational - each bite bursts with the perfect blend of seasoned meats and vibrant, zesty toppings. The homemade tortillas are a game-changer; you absolutely must try them with their irresistible Mulitas. And oh, their Pastor with pineapple is simply amazing! On top of the incredible food, the service is quick, the staff is friendly, and the prices are incredibly affordable. For anyone passionate about tacos, this spot is an absolute must-visit. I'm already planning my next trip back - Tacos Don Cuco has won me over completely!“
“This place is great! The people there are friendly and the food is really good. I love the Potato tacos and the Menudo.Vegetarian options: Potato tacos and fries, rice and beans, pupusasParking: Plenty of parking on the side of business and in the frontKid-friendliness: they have high chairs“
“Favorite taco spot, tried many other ones but you can tell they care about the quality of food they serve. They just close earlier than what their hours say so sometimes it's unconvienant. But I guess I could've called before going.“
“This restaurant deserves way more hype! I live in Pomona so there's PLENTY of Mexican restaurants. However, I keep coming back here to enjoy the delicious tacos and sopes. The tacos de asada: you HAVE to get them with the tortilla hechas a mano. ( tortillas made from scratch/ by hand) not only do they taste great, they're BIG! I can only eat two and I'm already full. I like to add green salsa and the red one. ( the red salsa is the best ) The sopes: don't be fooled, they're HUGE. It was freshly made and it was so delicious. It had beans, carne asada, lettuce, avocado , crema and queso. I've never had a sope this good in a long time. Please support this small business. They're friendly and the food is worth trying. Location could be better but don't let that stop you from enjoying the food.“
“I LOVE EL TACO MAN!!! The food is to live for ! It’s delicious!!!! El Taco Man in El Monte is a culinary treasure that deserves every bit of praise it receives. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a world of authentic Mexican flavors and friendly hospitality. The tostadas, in particular, are an absolute must-try, with their perfect balance of textures and exquisite taste. But don't stop there—explore the entire menu and savor a wide array of mouthwatering dishes. El Taco Man is a true delight for the senses and an experience that will leave you craving more. ?? I will forever eat there ! Yum yum yummy for your tummy“
“The tacos, al pastor and carne de asada, were satisfactory. However, the rice was a little dry, while the beans were tasty. Opting for the three-taco specialty was worth it, especially due to the fast service provided. The tacos, both al pastor and asada, were satisfactory. However, the rice was slightly dry, while the beans were flavorful. Opting for the three taco special was worthwhile, particularly due to the prompt service provided.“
“This place is a little more upscale than a hole in the wall taqueria. First thing that caught our eye was you can order top sirloin on your meats. I ordered a top sirloin asada taco and a carnitas taco. The asada taco was great, but the carnitas taco was just average. Both had guac included and the guac was good. I also ordered a side of beans since I enjoy a bean and cheese burrito from time to time and wanted to taste them in case I came back. They were very good and came with cheese on top. My husband had the asada nachos too sirloin. They were huge and for him were a 5. There were three salsas the orange one was super hot even for my husband who can take spice. This place is about 20mins out of the way for us, but we definitely will be coming back.Vegetarian options: Items can be ordered without meat, ie beans, cheese, rice, guac, tortillas, chips, fries“
“They were catering a wedding I attended and it was so good I asked them about possibly catering for my upcoming work function. They were so easy to work with. They tailored their program to meet our needs. They were on time and items were executed as discussed. Working with them was so far the best outcome out of all of our past experiences. I would definitely recommend reaching out and seeing if they can create what you are looking for. Their food program is on point and I wish I had easier access to them on a more regular basis. They are a gem for sure!“
“Definitely the best food, ? I've tried different dishes and so far I liked them all, I'm a foodie and this modest place is one of my mexican food faves, the Barbacoa Estilo Texcoco is the best I ever had!, ? congratulations to the owner chef for creating great dishes! ?“
“Wow, what a nice spot to have lunch. The atmosphere is relaxing as you visit and have lunch/supper. They have an outdoor sitting area as well as indoor dining. We sat inside for lunch. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The restaurant is easy to find and the area has a few parking lots to park and walk around. We are very pleased to have walked in. If you are visiting during peak hours you should make a reservation. Make this a spot to feed your belly, and get some downtime in.Kid-friendliness: We were here at lunch time and a lot of families were in and out with their kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Both front and back entrance are wheelchair accessible“
“Teddy's Taco was really good! My co-worker recommended the Jalapeno taco. So, I ordered one Jalapeno taco, one carne asada street taco, and one barbacoa street taco. All three were good but that blank taco was REALLY GOOD! It has a whole grilled jalapeno, creamy avocado sauce and marinated raisins in the meat. Now, I know what you're thinking but the little hint of sweetness the raisins add just takes this taco over the top and differentiates it from any other taco I've ever had. I wish I had gotten three of those instead of just one but since it was my first time I wanted to try a couple of different things. Next time I go to Teddy's Tacos I will be getting three of those. Delicioso! ???Now, I also tried the Cucumber Margarita and that was pretty good too. They put chamoy and tajin around the rim of the glass, as you can see in the picture. The lady that took my order said that it's a wine based margarita instead of tequila, which is interesting but also makes it not so strong since I had to go back to work. If you're in the area give Teddy's Tacos a try! ?✌?“
“A hot summer day in Chicago doesn't tend to scream "birria tacos!" and yet I found myself eating at Chela's with a friend. The establishment looks small outside (there is definitely limited parking shared with a Subway sandwich shop) but there is a lot of seating. The service was great- the waitress was very attentive and the cashier was very nice. There are complimentary tostadas and sauce brought to the table and the birria tacos are fantastic! Multiple salsas are provided, but the tacos are spicy themselves. Highly recommend trying them out.“
“# 77 review for 2024**Taco Los Morales: Bursting with Flavor!** 4 stars****Service 4 Stars****Ambiance 3 Stars**Food 5 Stars***** If you're on the hunt for authentic Mexican tacos that pack a flavorful punch, Taco Los Morales is an absolute gem! This taco truck isn't just a spot; it's an experience. From their pastor to Lengua, Cabeza, Suadero, and Buche tacos, each bite is a flavor explosion that's hard to forget. The seasoning is spot-on, elevating every taco to pure delight.Let's talk about those salsas--red and green, both exceptional! They're not just toppings; they're a knockout of taste that elevates the entire taco experience. And don't even get me started on their Aguas frescas! Horchata, Jamaica, and Piña--each one a refreshing delight.Taco Los Morales has effortlessly secured its place as one of my top go-to spots for delicious, authentic tacos. If you're craving a taste sensation, this truck is a must-visit!“
“I hardly ever consider to even write a review but I knew this place deserved it because of the delicious tacos they served. I got 3 tacos one of each meat they offered, asada, pastor, and pollo. Super tasty, well seasoned, and the best part is you definitely get your money's worth of meat. The taco was loaded with the meat and I was basically full from the 3 tacos. The taco tortilla was a little too soft and soggy for my taste, I prefer a crispier and dryer (not super dry) taco shell. Give the tacos a try!“
“Solid spot for authentic Mexican food. I've been a few times now and the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The inside is clean and inviting. They have all of the traditional Mexican plates and drinks so it can be hard to make a selection, but this time we had the carne asada sopa, barbacoa plate, and a side of chips and gucamole. I am a huge fan of robust flavored sauces and this barbacoa did not disappoint! As I was leaving I also spotted a tray of chile rellenos that I wish I had room for, but I will for sure order next time.“
“A great little East LA type taco place. Food is very good and the staff friendly. I appreciate how clean the restaurant is too. Sadly it is tucked away in not too frequently visited shopping area, so you really need to look for it, as from the street you would never know is there. Place is good for take out or eating in.“
“All the tacos here are very decent, in spite of not having torillas a la mano. The Suadero tacos are straight FIRE!! They have three different sauces to choose from and offer grilled onions, which is a plus. The service is good, and the cooks are on their game, serving those orders out fast.“
“Absolutely best tacos in the the area! They have the best fish tacos ever! The 3 plate meal they offer is a great choice. Great place to enjoy a taco on a lunch break. Quick and affordable. I just wished they would stay open a little longer.Parking: They are located to the left of the complex, easy parking“
“First time visiting. I ordered the Carne asada burrito. The lady taking my order was very polite. The burrito was excellent. Liked that the sauce and onions and cilantro were packaged. Beans and sliced jalapeños were available. Restaurant was very clean.“
