“We came in around 9am. The service is super nice and quick! The server was very attentive and made sure we got what we needed. We got two orders of the Orden de Birria and the portion was huge. We asked for the tortilla to be crispy and they said no problem. The price is great also. The soup was well seasoned, and there was a lot of meat. The salsa is also spicy, but just the right amount (I would consider it to be more than medium spice). Would come back again.“

“You would expect such a nice place to be next to a truck stop. The staff was friendly and offered lots of options to level up our breakfast. They have a nice salsa bar with grilled onions and serono chili's and 4 types of salsas that are sure to add just the right amount of heat and flavor you crave. The dishes came looking and tasting Amazing“

“We came to Palenque kitchen by Mezcal for my boyfriend's birthday and it did not disappoint! Not only was the atmosphere perfect, but the food was amazingly delicious. It exceeded my expectations. Also, the service (from being seated to finish) was wonderful. Christian was our server and he took very good care of us, from being tentative to going above and beyond. The whole experience was worth going and I highly recommend. If you go, ask for Christian! ???“

“This place has some bomb birria tacos, WITH the juice to dip! Yes a little pricy but tacos are a very generous size. The bean and cheese burritos here, are huge! Very filling and the green salsa they have to smother your burrito with is soooo delicious and very fresh. The menudo had a tasty broth and hit the spot. One of my favorite things they have is an electronic menu. It is a hot spot as soon as high school lets out, since it is right across the street from Rialto High school. Most days it's not too packed but right after school this place is packed.“

“I found this place off of Goolge.. Had a 4.9 at 59 reviews or so and my mood today was leaning towards Mariscos so I thought to give it try and yeah, it was pretty good with a decent serving size as well.. I had the Shrimp burrito and my son had the shrimp tacos (not including drinks).. I would say definitely worth the stop and I'll be back in on another occasion forsure to try some other dishes.. “Wow, is what I said after I bit into an asada taco. The tortilla was moist with flavor and their Asada was money. I will knit pick the birria tacos I tried, it was on the bland side. I didn't have consumé to dip, I wish I had.We also tried the Asada Burrito, it was a nice decent size with the same amazing flavor. My one complaint is they will not add onions and cilantro to the tacos. You have to go to their salsa cart and wait in line. It isn't in the most open place as it blocks the employees serving entrance and next to a fridge. With all that being said I will be back even with horrible McKinley construction ?“

“When my family and I got sick, we really wanted a comforting, delicious soup. Thankfully we found this place and the caldo de pollo was everything we needed. I love how it also comes with a small cup of rice. After we got better, we decided to try their tacos de pastor, torta de pastor, fish tacos and fish burrito. Absolutely loved it all and hope to continue eating their delicious food and supporting a local small business.“

“Loved the food, the table salsa is on point, fresh and delicious with a nice burn. The homemade tortillas are a must have. They cook the meat in the middle of the place so it folds the room with smells and you get to see it.Kid-friendliness: A bit loud but not bad and masks any loud toddler you may be with.“

“Delicious food and great customer service! I googled restaurants that served "cócteles de camarón." This restaurant came up I was a bit skeptic but gave a try anyway. I ordered to go online and everything was ready when I arrived. The person that helped me was very nice and polite. I asked if everything was in the bag like lemon, saltine crackers and hot sauce. She replied yes but if you like I can give you a couple more! Great customer service! Pricing very reasonable and they are not stingy with the shrimps nor with the octopus. Definitely going back!“

“Love it here! Every time I’ve been here, I’ve never been disappointed. Everything is so bomb. The sushi tastes like an authentic Sinaloa Sushi? The only thing bad is the mariachi. No hate to them, they sing amazing but they have the microphone volume very high and you can’t talk to your loved ones. Other than that, 100% recommended!“

“Good food with friendly staff. Had a carne asada burrito and my lady had an enchilada plate. The burrito was great but we had to send back the enchilada because the cheese inside wasn't melted, I took a star off for this, they did replace the item without any hassle. Overall this establishment showed to be a clean a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.“

For reference, i have a large appetite, so when I say that the nachos were so loaded, and good that I couldn’t even finish it, it’s true. For how much it is, these nachos were worth it. And it even made a good meal for leftovers. I definitely recommend this for someone who has a big appetite.Best Asada Nachos for a cheap price, 10/10 service.“

“I literally live about a mile from this place and barely went for the 1st time. I've lived here for 7 years. Why didn't anybody tell me about this place!! Really good food. Excellent asada. Actual ranchera. It's pricey, but what isn't. I'd rather spend my money on good food than those nasty a$$ taco trucks. “The strip anchored by the Stater Bros in Mira Loma is home to a space that has been a Mexican restaurant for decades, though not always the same Mexican restaurant. In the remote past, the Green Burrito chain occupied it - slinging staples from the Cal-Mex repertoire. A place where each of my elementary school teachers seemed to return from their lunch breaks at a minimum of twice a week. It was there where I had my first ever Baja style fish taco. In the more recent past it was called Casa Diaz, serving a bill-of-fare that was less "Cal" and more "Mex." I liked their chicken mole burrito, wet with extra mole. (Come to think of it, what could be more Cal-Mex than a wet Mission style burrito?) The current iteration is called El Chivito; and is arguably the boldest restaurant in the history of Riverside County. El Chivito is a specialist. It is a Jalisciense birria spot. You get birria de chivo, heaps of it in a bowl, a mound of it on a taco, and/or a portion of it within a mulita. Entering El Chivito, you find yourself face-to-face with a woman masterfully stamping out fresh tortillas. Another woman instructs you to seat yourself where you wish. Go find a comfortable spot on one of the unlacquered pine benches. Order some goat. The tortillas are rich with earthy corn flavor. The birria itself is a full court press of goat funkiness. The consome is particularly special due to its wholesomeness. Eschewing the traffic light red variety of consome, imbued with a slick of fat, that took over all the socials in recent years, the broth here is clean, allowing more of the goat to shine. It is a palliative for all your ailments. The usual suspects can all be found in the condiment caddy. The cebolla and cilantro. The limes. And of course, the scorching hot salsa of chiles de arbol.“

“I must admit I did not have high hopes for this place. My husband and I had never heard of it. We decided to give it a try. We entered the restaurant and the young man behind the counter was very helpful. He noticed we were slightly overwhelmed by the selection of food and offered samples. Everything we tried was very tasty. They even had Champurrado and it hit the spot, it was the perfect balance. We ordered a chicken plate and a birria plate. The birria was very well seasoned and the beans and rice did not lack flavor. This is one of our fave spots now! The restaurant is always empty when we go so we always decide to eat in. They have salsas and condiments available in the dining room.“

“I found this restaurant on Google, and was not disappointed! My chile verde omelet was slathered with chile verde that had a nice kick to it, though not overwhelming. Other reviews are correct the their salsas are outstanding, very fresh and obviously homemade! Love how they serve the creamy refried beans in a small bowl made of a tortilla. Fun decor with a kitschy Route 66 theme, and great service too!“

“We've been going to this place for years and love their food but recently we went there and they changed the tacos. They should be called mini tacos. There the smallest I've ever seen. They used to be regular size with lots of shredded cheese. Not anymore. Still good, just not the same.“

“So today i decided to try this place out. I’ve literally passed by this place like a million times but never stopped to try it. I read some good reviews so i thought I’d give it a shot & i gotta admit im glad i did! I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food and i know good chilaquiles when i have them, and these are by far one of my faves now! The plate came out to about $14 bucks which i guess it’s a bit pricey but it was totally worth it and i will definitely return to try other stuff.“

“This is a hidden gem!! Decided to try this place on Thursday night and it has definitely become a favorite spot. The location is in deep San Bernardino so there is not a lot going on around the area. They have nice seating area inside as well as a drive-thru! The staff and the guy always working is super kind and gives off such a positive energy. Great service each time. It's been really cold and I wanted some pozole on a random Thursday, luckily they serve it! It was soooo delicious and I had ordered it to-go, they packaged it very carefully with all the condiments for it- it was also still very hot when I got home. I also tried their asada and pastor tacos and they were soooo good - very flavorful and I love the handmade tortillas. I also had the horchata and it was definitely made with love. Each time I've gone it hasn't been super busy, but this is a spot that should be busy!! I've brought family and friends and they all agree it is a delicious hidden gem. Definitely recommend if you're in the area 10/10.“

“Good food. Always fresh. Lines never long. Always a good place to grab good food. Haven't gotten my order wrong yet. Which is surprising bc I always have problems with taco Bell's. Idk why. But it's good here. The area around the store is a little on the ghetto side but they can't help that. If you're in the area and need to get some food I'd def recommend stopping here.“
