“Vine and grain was fun! Drinks were a solid 5 stars, where the food I would say was a 3 (a good 3!). Service was outstanding - the bartender was friendly and available as was the rest of the staff and we thought they were all good at their jobs. Atmosphere inside is awesome. Copy and modern. The patio can get noisy depending on what's going on around DOCO. We will be adding this to the rotation before Kings games!Parking: City event parking around DOCO available. Mostly garage parking.“
“This little wine bar occupies the location that was formerly Celestin's- we like the proximity to our neighborhood, and it's just a few doors down from the East Village Bookstore. Recommend spending an afternoon exploring the bookstore followed by some drinks at The Nook. There is also an outdoor picnic table area for folks who want to bring their dog, but it is on the parking lot so beware of pavement temps. I can't speak to the food menu, as we have only stopped in for drinks before. Overall, there is a decent selection of wines (red/white/sparkling), as well as beers, ciders, and even mocktails. During our most recent visit, my husband was interested in the vermouth. The bartender created a cocktail that was the grapefruit vermouth + sparkling wine- it was such a refreshing spritz, and we really appreciated the personal recommendation. Service here has been great each time we have visited. Pricing is a bit more expensive compared to wine bars in midtown- expected given its East Sac location. The vibes and aesthetic of the indoor space is a little confused- featuring decor such as damask ceiling hangings, resin wall art, eclectic 3D wall art, and overhead lights that are a little too bright for a wine bar.“
“While waiting for dinner reservations close by, I found this cool spot that serves ciders, beers and finger food. This used to be the “Cider House” that served poke bowls. I was really surprised on how tasty their ciders were here, that I ordered more than what I should have. It is like drinking juice ? soooo good! The staff were friendly, attentive and I really enjoyed the cozy relaxed vibe and they have outdoor seating and bar games. Will definitely return to try their food!!! Two thumbs up!“
“This is one of my favorite dinner places in Midtown. The food is always amazing especially the mussels in garlic butter and dipping the bread in the butter sauce...SOOOO GOOOOD!! I also love the red wine sangria. And the best part is that their prices are very reasonable! Enjoy!“
“omg love the ambiance and atmosphere of this place. Smells good, the vibe was vibin, the owners who are mother and daughter were so warm, welcoming and personable. The wine was great, the charcuterie board I ordered was fantastic. Definitely recommend“
“Needing to kill some time, I stopped in here yesterday for a drink and hoping to charge my phone, both of which were accomplished. This place is so cool and unique! The guy who helped me was so nice and I had a great time just taking in the eclectic decor and relaxing for a bit. The beer list isn't huge but there's something for everyone and I had a great Pilsner. I loved it here and can't wait to come back and bring friends next time I'm in town!“
“Beautiful space & energy here... when we come in we are always treated like family... phenomenal beer and food... you get what you pay for and the quality here is top notch. I always recommend to all my family and friends..Keep up the good work Alaro!!!Vegetarian options: Veggie burger is my jazz here!!Kid-friendliness: Cool outdoor spot for kids. Beautiful plants everywhere...“
“Best cocktails in town!!Hands down!!Amazing prices for happy hour!I've been a bartender for over 10 years and never have I wanted to try all the cocktails on any menu before till I came here!I had 4 different ones..Definitely coming back to try the others!Even the mocktails my friend ordered were goodThe small bite were delicious alsoWe reordered some! ?I thought the bill would be in the 200's and it was only half that! All the drinks and small bites we hadI was happily shocked on how low the bill actually was!4.7 stars I rate would definitely be 5 stars if the bartender/owner smiled more and tried to be lil more social if they have time.May i suggest they leave the anchor glass pitcher with the guest for the short water glass to be refilled quicker.“
“My wife and I stopped here today, and were really happy we did. I got a montepulciano and she got a glass of bubbles. We paired it with a brie and bacon flatbread and it all came together very nicely. Check them out, they've got a really nice patio across from the State Capitol and Capitol Park, so it's a nice place to relax.“
“Very cute, romantic date night spot. Full bar and the food is delicious! Highly recommend trying this place out!Parking: There are a few spots directly in front, there’s a handful of spots on the side and some spots in the back of the building.“
“Always great service and great food. Q is hilarious. I love all the vegan options, especially the vegan roll. I love their miso soup with the tiny mushrooms.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian/vegan options include miso soup, vegan roll, edamame, a few salads, and more!“
“We had tapas at Aioli and we loved the Gambas Ajillo and the Portobello De La Moda the most. My spouse had the duck which is the Pechuga De Pato and he liked it very much as it was served with fennel. Had a glass of the G Monte wine and some bread and desert. Lovely dinner and lovely restaurant with well tuned staff. Will go again!Parking: We parked about one block away - on the street.“
“Decided to try something new and what a find! The staff are very informative and will help guide you if it’s your first time consuming kava. There are great options for snacks sold here too! Love the live music on the weekends, the jazz band was fabulous! Must try if you’re in Midtown!“
