“Plain and simple not just because it's close to my house but it became my favorite traditional Mexican restaurant in salinas hands down! I always order the wet super burrito, but I have tried their mariscos, and they are amazing their micheladas are thirst, quenching hands down the best, and I recently tried their shrimp empanadas and they are the best I've ever tasted I 100% recommend this place“
“This quaint little restaurant was very inviting, even for 10:30 in the morning. I was greeted and sat immediately and only needed 2 minutes to decide that I wanted a torta when I saw they had Jarritos. I got a torta de jamón which came with French fries. The bread was very fresh and soft, but the toasted outside with mayonnaise was warm and crispy. It was filled with enough ham to warrant a to-go box, but it didn't make it home as I ate the rest in the car.“

“It's lent season...so Fridays I have to go and find my grilled fish ?. They have home made tortillas here so that is a BIG plus for me. The fish was cooked well, but the seasoning was a bit too much. On the salty side. The place was packed so we were sat in a corner...waitress forgot about us so we had to get her attention. Food is fresh, would recommend you try it.“

“This place has a refreshingly cool rocken Español vibe with loud latin hip-hop music playing while you enjoy your delicious cocktail. The watermelon margaritas are delicious. I ordered Mexican corn delicious with the spicy edemame was also very, very good, Asada tacos were equally delicious, and Mami salad was cute. It said closes at 9pm, but it was after 10 pm when we left, and people were being seated, so I'm not sure about that. A GREAT place to bring a date, hanging out with the girls or enjoying good friends or family. Yes!“

“We stopped here for a snack on our way up the coast from Santa Cruz back to SF and are glad we did. We both got one shrimp and one fish taco each, both grilled. Neither was overcooked and tasted very fresh. The flavoring on the fish was a little mild but it worked well with the other ingredients. Neither of us was a fan of the hot sauces provided and thought the table salsa was tastier to use for the tacos too. The chips are DELICIOUS, homemade and you can tell they're fresh. We saw a few orders of guacamole walk by and it looked legit. I'd definitely order it if I just happened to be back. The service was also very good!“
“Best (Gobernador) Shrimp Tacos EVER!!!Abundant and super fresh shrimp cooked to the exact perfect second, delivered perfectly warm, crammed into fresh homemade crispy soft tortillas, topped with fluffy homemade guac, sautéed sweet onions and peppers with oozy soft melted cheese. Absolutely mind-blowing delicious! It will be an almost impossible challenge to order anything else when I eat here next time, but the menu all looks so tempting, too.
