Good Indonesian food is hard to find in the States. I've wanted to stop here for years, but their hours haven't meshed well with mine. Our server asked if this was our first time there, then nearly filled a plate with various samples. That was almost a meal in itself. My favorite restaurant. I lived very close to Tempe House in 2021, but moved to Texas in 2022. 5 years later and I still think about this place all the time! Delicious, quick and affordable. Huge portions! What I'd give to go back and eat there again. I especially miss the Bakpia 🤤
