Hing Lung (San Bruno) Reviews

Hing Lung in San Bruno is a popular spot known for its authentic Chinese cuisine, especially its rice porridge and Cantonese dishes. Visitors often praise the XO rice noodles and congee, which are considered some of the best in the area. The menu features a variety of made-to-order dishes, including Hong Kong Style crispy noodles, Dry Beef Chow Fun, Salted fish fried rice, and Hainan style chicken, with many items offering a rich wok flavor that sets it apart from other Chinese restaurants. The Pork liver with ginger and onion is highly recommended for its tender texture and flavorful seasoning, and the rice porridge is a must-try, often highlighted as a standout dish. The restaurant is welcoming with quick service, making it a good choice for those craving authentic Cantonese food. It offers ample parking and accepts credit cards. However, some reviews mention that the place can feel a bit run down, with sticky floors and walls that could use cleaning. Despite this, the food quality and portion sizes are consistently good, and the nostalgic, homey atmosphere leaves many customers feeling warm and satisfied. Overall, Hing Lung is highly recommended for Chinese food enthusiasts and anyone passing through the area.
