Recently discovered this small family-owned Ethiopian café near my home and I'm absolutely impressed! Tried their sambusas - 4 for $6, and they were excellent. We got 2 lentil and 2 beef, each one bursting with flavor, especially when paired with their delicious red sauce. Beyond the food, the service was friendly and attentive, and the fast Wi-Fi is a bonus. Definitely a hidden gem that I'll be returning to very soon!
This little gem offers Eritrean and Ethiopian food. I had the four sambusas, two with lentils and two with ground beef. They also make coffee and espresso, so I had the lady make me a coffee and hot milk.The sambusas were fantastic. The pastry had a very good texture and was tasty. Best Eritrean Cafe/Restaurant in the City Heights area. The owner, who also happens to be the Chef is a very humble Lady. The food is delicious ??, 10/10. Vegan options are also available. I highly recommend this place.
