“This place is quite a drive from where I live so it took a while for me to pay a visit despite drooling over the pictures and reviews here on Yelp. One day I was invited to a pot luck. Knowing that the go-to potluck item for this crowd was going to be lumpia, I decided to take a risk and order from here instead. Let me tell you! I got asked about it all night long by adults and kids. The most favored flavors were chicken and beef. We even tried desserts. While it was not as popular as the savory flavors, it was still enjoyed. I now have a new go-to place for potlucks!“
“The BBQ platter plate was a really good portion. Between two of us, we couldn't finish it, and had enough for a whole second meal! Everything was cooked perfectly. I like the texture that the accompanying farofa adds to the food. Hubs enjoyed the black beans a lot. Yuca fries--I'm a sucker for these anywhere, and the ones here were hot and crispy, and I ate the whole order up even before my food came out. But, they're a bit pricy, IMHO. I order the passionfruit mousse for dessert, but, felt like it was a bit much for just me. Hubs wasn't a Mousse kind of guy. And although pretty good, I may not order it again just because it was a lot for one person, and you can't really take it to go bc it was served in a glass.“
