“We came for 2 coffees to go and were very excited about the idea of combining a flower shop and a coffee shop. It seems very harmonious and lively! Both coffees were extremely good and very balanced. The Chaga Bullet was a perfect combination, the Honey-Lavender Latte was a bit sweet for my personal taste but still very interesting. We'll definitely be back!“
“This place is the best! Stopped in after a long drive. I wanted something refreshing and nourishing, and received just that! Chloe helped me— was very helpful and kind. Will definitely be back during my stay here in OB. Thank you, Viol’s and Chloe!! ? Deeply grateful.“
“I discovered Chiefy Cafe in Hillcrest while running errands (they have several locations). The cafe has a simple and welcoming vibe, and it's dog-friendly.Upon entering, I had a casual chat about their menu and was intrigued by their signature drinks. I opted for the Iced Moon Latte, made with Oatmilk, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Tocos Powder, Ashwagandha, and Spirulina. They offer good food options, but my focus was on the coffee.Initially unsure about how my drink would taste due to the various ingredients, I was pleasantly surprised. The healthy additions blended well, resulting in a flavor more akin to a cinnamon and vanilla latte. They offer only one drink size, which I found to be perfect. They have a few drinks and menu items in mind for my next visit. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the names of the ladies who made my drink and chatted with me, but their friendly service added to my pleasant experience.“
“First time here and ordered two donuts and an americano. I like that the donuts are made to order and come out warm. Nice touch. You can customize a donut as well. I typically eat classic donuts, little to no frosting or add-ons. Copper doesn’t sell these type, like plain cake or powdered sugar classic options. Coffee was good, service friendly and near the ocean alway a plus.“
“Sooo delicious. Been coming here for 15 years +. I don't live in the neighborhood but I still visit for the watermelon ice cream drink and the ham tortas. Hands down the best smoothie and torta in San Diego. They also have their fruiteria next door where you can pick up fresh produce. Highly recommend trying senor mangos.“
“Was looking for vegan food and found this place. Great mixed green salad minus the feta. The hummus veggie bagel on a great sourdough multi grain bread, because the bagel ingredients were unknown, was delicious. The very friendly employees were willing to make substitutions for me.Vegetarian options: Willing to modify most items on the menu“
“They are absolutely amazing!?Smoothies! Wraps! Bowls! Juices! ❤️ Looking for a quick pick me up, stop here. They even have nitro coffee and immunity shots here, along with all the vintage arcade games you can think of. Free of cost! We travel for a living so this is a great place to visit and put on your itinerary! They promote a free 16 oz smoothie with a purchase of a smoothie if you leave a google review too! Gotta try it! ???“
“I am from Phoenix and come to OB about 4 times a year. This was my first time at We Be OB. We were on the way back from the dog park and decided we were hungry, but we had no wallet, only phones. We decided to stop and see if they had Apple Pay and they did. They are the home of the panini dog but since it was 9:30 am we thought the breakfast special was in order. Half sausage and egg panini and coffee for $7. We also got the 1/2 Linguica sausage and egg panini and in all honestly was the best breakfast sammy I have ever had. The sausage is a Portuguese smoked pork seasoned with garlic and paprika. YOU HAVE GOT TO HAVE ONE! The half was a perfect size. You will not be disappointed.“
“Love this spot! My interactions with the folks who own the stand have been really positive, and they seem to be very nice people. All of the food and drinks have and were delicious. The ham and cheese stuffed croissants are absolutely scrumptious, and finally well with one of their smoothies. Also one of my favorite places to get an Açaí bowl. Definitely one of my normal stops in OB.“
“AWESOME! loved the food choices. All the food in the menu is served all day. Coffee/tea open bar is unique and very cool. Grab a menu and seat yourself - love it. Super fast service. The freshly squeezed orange juice is amazing - we have travelled the world and tasted freshly squeezed orange juice everywhere and this is top. Georgie was our waiter…super friendly. A++.“
“We stopped by on a weekday morning and had the acai bowl, keto salad, and almond croissant. Everything came out fast and was so delicious, especially the acai bowl!! There was outdoor seating for us to sit with our dog too. Just a really great breakfast?“
“I LOVE acai bowls and was pleasantly surprised by Northside Shack's variety of toppings. The bowls are expensive, as many are these days, but the large ($17) was great to share between two people. You can have as many bases (acai, pitaya, or coconut) as you'd like with unlimited toppings. There are some additional toppings available for a cost, and adding peanut butter for $2 was very worthwhile. Peanut butter complements the fruit so well and there was plenty in the bowl. There was a bit of a wait as the bases may be blended fresh and it was busy on a weekend around noon. There aren't any tables but a few benches and chairs outside the shop. The North Park Mini Park is a couple blocks away if you're looking for a picnic table. They gave us a plate with our to-go packaged bowl which really helped catch the many toppings piled on top of the large bowl.“
“At Chiefy Cafe you can find not only the best coffee in the world but also the best breakfast/brunch food. My favorite is the ham and cheese croissant!! The atmosphere is amazing!!! I highly recommend going there if you are a coffee lover! Also the people working there are kind, patient, and respectful!“
“A fantastic lunch spot. The "Seize Her" wrap was a great spin on a Cesar salad with a little kick. The soup special, spinach broccoli, was one of the best soups I've had. Service was A+ friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.“
“Ok first let me say that Emy is the star of this show! You just feel her lovely, compassionate, enthusiastic energy from the moment you walk in & she greets you. Excellent customer service! I love the ambience, decorations & the large & easy to read signs. It's like love literally infuses her place, so the name is aptly fitting. I got a jasmine, dragonfruit boba & it was delicious. Next time I plan to try the Acai Bowl. She had beautiful stone bracelets at the counter that immediately drew my attention I highly recommend BobaLove to everyone. She has different items on the menu & a nice variety of flavors. The atmosphere is so inviting & positive & Emy is just a precious gem of a human And thx so much for letting me exchange some of my coin/change!“
“Really great all natural fresh smoothies and fruit bowls! Very popular with the locals, I will definitely seek out a location next time I'm in SoCal.No inside seating though. Walk-up window or order ahead. They were making online orders even before their window opening time.Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian. Some things with milk and milk alternatives“
“This place is so cute!! I just loved it. The prices were fantastic, we had food for two and a side for a baby for less than 60$. We had Chan for our server and he was just great, left us alone but also was making sure we were taken care of. We would definitely come here again!“
“ Strawberry matcha (seasonal) 5/5 (top 2 I've had in SD) Lavender London fog (hot) 4.5/5 Ursula's Revenge lemonade 4/5 - at first tasted a little weak but magically had a lot of flavor later Mermaid toast 3/5 - pretty but was more or less cream cheese on sourdough with sprinkles. My daughter loved it, though? Fruit cup 2/5 - about half banana with strawberries and blueberries. Meh, will skip next time.I couldn't really taste the matcha or early grey in the drinks so it was kind of like really good strawberry milk and lavender milk. I had no problem with this and will happily come back and get them both again but others may not.“
“I got a mushroom mocha type of drink, I can't remember exactly what it was called but it was delicious and clean. It's a cool little spot with outlets & a flower wall that's good to get a little work done or reading. Everyone there was chill & helpful, definitely pay them a visit“
“Starting my day in the Mission Valley area and found this nice coffee shop. It’s in a business area that you’d never really think about going to. Free one hour parking through a ticketed gate. The caramel and salt cold brew is YUM. Highly recommended. Also had the egg, sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich. Hit the spot. They have some different drink options such as super smoothies and cold brew cocktails. Definitely recommended if you’re near the area. Very close to Dave and Busters also.“
“first time here & WOW there turkey avocado sandwich on chibatta bread was so fresh & there signature sauce spicy was DELICIOUS ! Me & my gf both got drinks she got the slimmer juice & it was healthy & fresh also I got the very berry & it was perfect as well 100% recommend this amazing spot“
“My wife and I both ordered the 3 day juice cleanse. I am NOT a beet fan (one of the juices was made with beets) but it was soooo good! The 6th juice of the day was my favorite- kind of like a dessert at the end of the day. We loved the juices so much, we ordered the cleanse again (allow them at least 5 hours to make before pick up). We both feel great and it was an excellent kick start to our new healthier lifestyle! On another note: their acai bowls are delicious!!! Wish this place had some type of a rewards program - apparently they used to. We will be going back as this has become our new favorite spot for juices and acai bowls!“
“The staff are the best. They remember my name always and always ask me how I have been, where I've been, etc., makes it feel like I am supporting my friends business. The food is also great but I'm a creature of habit and always get the same thing“
“I’m a big fan of Açaí Carioca and I’m so happy with their new location right by the beach in PB! Their açaí is the authentic recipe and the toppings are just too good - try the passion fruit cream and thank me later!Service is always super friendly and accommodating!“
“The BBQ platter plate was a really good portion. Between two of us, we couldn't finish it, and had enough for a whole second meal! Everything was cooked perfectly. I like the texture that the accompanying farofa adds to the food. Hubs enjoyed the black beans a lot. Yuca fries--I'm a sucker for these anywhere, and the ones here were hot and crispy, and I ate the whole order up even before my food came out. But, they're a bit pricy, IMHO. I order the passionfruit mousse for dessert, but, felt like it was a bit much for just me. Hubs wasn't a Mousse kind of guy. And although pretty good, I may not order it again just because it was a lot for one person, and you can't really take it to go bc it was served in a glass.“
“We are on vacation and decided to stop by for breakfast. We highly recommend this beautiful establishment. The coffee is superb and so is the food. I had the cafe mocha with almond milk and avocado toast. The service was excellent and the staff are super attentive. Very friendly too. We loved it so much that we did not consider going anywhere else for coffee and breakfast the following morning.“
“Service is great! The employees are friendly and welcoming. Love the Tostilocos set up (will come back with the kids). I was hungry and got the Mediterranean bowl with chicken, it was delicious! The quinoa topped with the fresh cucumber, juicy chicken, pickled red onions, olives, tomatoes, chickpeas and feta cheese . It's so big I have dinner and lunch for tomorrow.“
“Oh what a Humble Spot! Humble Bean Cafe is smooth, sophisticated flavor, with secret menu offerings that tantalize and please the palet. Ask for the rose matcha coffee brewed hot or iced! Great vibes. Bring a laptop and hang with the regulars. Some items sell out too!“
“Came here after the gym a couple of times, it's kinda hidden unless you live in this area but I feel like that's perfect for families around here to grab some frozen yogurt or a smoothie after the gym! They also have dog ice cream which is nice for our little pups. They had a great variety of flavors for frozen yogurt and some smoothie options as well. It's super clean inside which I appreciate and the service was good too! The worker was super nice and welcoming :)“
“First time today and needed some protein. So happy I found this place. The chunky monkey is what I saw a lot in the reviews so I grabbed one for myself and it was so good! A little pricier than I expected but it was worth it ? I’m wondering where to find the nutrition facts?“
“Stopping here in the morning or afternoon is always a pleasure. Lori has great drink options, smoothies, and breakfast items. Her espresso is the best tasting espresso in the area. I also love the egg bites, mocha smoothie with a shot of espresso, and bagels. Great quality, amazing prices, lovely service.“
“A cool little cafe at UCSD. There's enough room and the coffee does the trick. I will say the view is not as great as some others think it is (blocked by lots of trees and there's a road in between. Still, if you're in the area it's a good place to get coffee.“
“It was very clean when we stopped by. Many flavors to choose from (I think there were 10-12?) My kids loved it. Four stars only because I wasn't asked if I needed a receipt and the cashier just assumed I didn't need one. They have a small freezer with ready to go frozen yogurt cakes. The parking is not bad but all the spaces in the parking lot tend to be a bit narrower. But it's in a great location right across Target and close to many restaurants. We will definitely return.“
“Honestly this is one of my favorite places in San Diego. It's a family owned business and they are all so sweet and charming, the food is GREAT (try the ironman, add jalapenos and bacon and red onions and thank me). The fries, both regular and seasoned, are incredible. Fav fries in SD.Get a smoothie too! Summer breeze is my kids fav by a mile. The breakfast offerings are few but all delicious. The chicken tequila pasta is absolutely delicious. This is a true local joint that has been around for 20+ years, and if they never change I'll hopefully be buried with my kids tossing an order from them into the casket.“
“I ordered the steak burrito and the Aloha White Mocha. The burrito was pretty good and I like that the tortilla was cooked. The Aloha White Mocha was a little off to me. The drink was good but it seemed watered down or something. It was even a double shot espresso and it tasted like it was a regular coffee. Overall I would go back and try another drink so I would suggest someone give this place a try.“
“Cowles Mountain Coffee, situated across from Cowles Mountain, is an ideal spot for hikers seeking a well-deserved break. After our hike, we decided to stop by at this coffee and açaí place ! It provides a welcome respite. The location offers a convenient stop to refuel with energizing coffee and indulge in nutritious açaí bowls. The café's proximity to the popular hiking spot makes it a go-to destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The staff is friendly and attentive, making your visit even more enjoyable. Whether you're in need of a caffeine boost or a refreshing açaí treat, Cowles Mountain Coffee is a fantastic choice!“
“I had the pleasure of having lunch and the atmosphere was great, staff were professional and the food was amazing. Thank you , you all did it.Parking: There’s available parking in the lot or on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking wS available in-front of the shop.“
“Good acai! I think my favorite part about this is that they serve it in a cup, not a bowl. It's so much easier to eat on the go! I made my own 16oz with acai, granola, coconut, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, honey, and peanut butter. My boyfriend got the crunchy bowl. Next time we both decided my move was the best! I would get double granola and no honey next time (honey had an odd super fake sweet flavor to me). The acai itself was very good and the fruit was fresh. Quite difficult to park over there so definitely grab a spot even if you're a few blocks away. There was only one person working so it was a bit of a wait for the acai to be fully prepped - about 10 mins or so but the indoor space is super clean and trendy so not bad to wait. If I'm going to pay $27 for two bowls, I still love my juice wave acai in mission but I would pop back in here if I was in the area and craving acai.“
“What a hidden gem behind an office build but a great find! The coffee is delicious and the owner goes out of his way to make sure all your needs the met. There’s a cute little seating area which makes this the perfect spot. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good coffee “
“This place has become our new spot to celebrate after our kids soccer games. The staff is super friendly, it is always clean and has great toppings. There are yummy dairy free options as well!Highly recommend! Thank you, Yogurt Heaven for helping create new family traditions!“
“This was my first time trying this spot and I must say it didn't disappoint. I had iced coffee with vanilla and half and half. It wasn't too sweet, a perfect blend. I recommend and I'll be back. Especially since I work nearby“
“I went here because I like to try new coffee places, and since my GF is going to school in SD and I saw this place, I decided to try it out and it was perfect. I wish I had one where I lived but I definitely loved it here. I'll definitely be returning here more often and hope they branch out too!“
“One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. I got the power bowl. The mix of flavors (just a tad bit heavy on salt) was amazing. And I felt like I was eating it forever. I also had the tumeric latte. Yummy.I got here just in time for Sunday breakfast. I arrived around 915 and by 930 there was a line.“
“This is a great little coffee stand. Even when there's a long line they serve us quickly. I've noticed that consistently and it's appreciated. The coffee is always good. We get my daughter a burrito there often before school, and she loves them. The young women who work there are friendly and if you've been going there for years like we have they remember what you like to order. I've never been to a better coffee shop.“
“Picked up an organic smoothie this morning before I leave San Diego to head home. I was pleasantly surprised with this encouraging message to start my day! If you are ever in San Diego them out... healthy, delicious, positive and encouraging ? ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Came to this drive thru to try some coffee, my favorite part is that you can park at the target and sit outside or you can just pull up with your car. The baristas were nice and helpful. The drinks we got were a bit slow to come out, which is something you should consider coming here, despite the drive thru (greater than 10min for 2 drinks). Also the drinks we got were pretty sweet so make sure you ask for less sugar if you don't want it to be too sweet. The outdoor seating is cute and not a bad first date spot if the weather is nice!“
“PB cream cold brew was tasty.Staff was really nice. It's in a business complex so the space is fine but nothing exciting at all.Be aware that they put your croissants in a panini press to warm them up which was..... A choice. Yes, it's warm, but it completely eliminates the flakey layers of the croissant.“
“Great customer service at this location! Jenna helped us out and was very welcoming and kind. We got the Blue Lagoon and Coco Love with the Mango Coconut water and it was amazing. Will definitely be coming back, the location was also very clean.“
