“We were there on vacation a few weeks back stopped for lunch and was very happy with the food and service especially your server Valerie think her last name was Long. she was quick and polite. Another of times you go to a restaurant and don't even get a smile. Valerie was very kind and was very polite.“

“Bale French Sandwich is a tiny shop tucked away in Mira Mesa Square serving quick Vietnamese dishes like banh mi, fried rice, egg rolls, and boba.

We enjoyed the charbroiled pork and lemongrass chicken banh mi - a great value at $6.25 each. The bread had a great crust: thin, very crisp, and flaky. The pickled carrot and daikon added nice texture and brightness, while the raw jalapeños brought the right amount of heat. The egg rolls were also a hit, with a peppery flavor and a crisp outer shell.

Note that this is a grab-and-go spot with a strictly business vibe. The service is efficient, so have your order ready. There is only one small table for snacking and two benches for waiting. They also offer extensive party tray options if you order in advance.

There is plenty of free parking, though the lot gets competitive on weekends due to the nearby Aldi and Lucky Seafood Market.“

“I’ll start off my review with saying great customer service . It shows the owner has put in a lot much of his/her time to train their employees properly . Every time I walk in I am always greeted and never rushed when ordering . I personally love there fruit waters and making my own chip bowl. All prices are decent and affordable so they fit everyones budget . It can get busy from time to time but totally worth the wait . I definitely recommend visiting this location to grab something for your sweet tooth or salty craving:) . Most importantly this location is always clean and sanitized ! You will never see a mess.“

Wife and I get a Pastor and a California Burrito and eat half of each. Try their hot sauces, red and green both.

Place is small but runs quickly and smoothly.

Parking is a bit tough but it's not their fault, the lot is barely 12 spaces. Don't let that stop you, just go a little further to the larger lot and walk about 30 seconds for your burrito. It's worth it.“

In a world of darkness, pain, and misery the Shack is my refuge. My life hangs off of Halal Shack like the Shawarma hangs on the rotating stick. “Amazingly friendly staff. When you walk in, you immediately feel like family. There is so much variety. The #25 is amazing with it's fresh sliced avocado. The #45 is easily my favorite hot sandwich. There is always 2 new soups daily and all of them are absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and fully customizable. The prices are easily justified when you consider just how big the portions are. The staff in general will always make you feel welcome. They are attentive to their customers and have a unique way of making a bad day a lot better. Highly recommend just for the atmosphere here.“

I really appreciate the full vegan menu which you don’t see often at an authentic burrito stand. Ordered the soyrizo quesadilla and was not disappointed. The tortilla was fresh, flavorful beans, and liked the vegan cheese. My friend got the Beach Cali which was beyond good and perfect for walking over to the beach to enjoy.

Fast, friendly service & yummy food 🤤 this time I got a $10.99 Fiesta meal, which comes with a 🌮 taco, “mini” 🌯 burrito, chips & 🥤 drink. Their salsa bar is perfect & love that they have salsa fresca! Enough for two meals.“

“Did you know that they offer late night BYOB special deal from 8pm to close for $5.99. You get to pick between single California classic or spicy chicken sandwich. Then fries or onion rings. Then it comes with chicken stars. What a steal!

Unfortunately I came during lunch and got the Cali XL for $5.99. The exact Cali single double cheeseburger is under the Star Deal menu for $4.69 but mini version. Also got the famous star.

We actually sat at the tables to eat. I had ordered another famous star combo for take out and they offered to make it fresh for me when I’m about to head out so that I would only have to pay once. Such great service. My take home meal was warm and fresh when I got home.
