“Hot waiters! Delicious food! FANTASTIC DRAG SHOWS! I had SO much fun attending the Saturday drag brunch this weekend. I didn't know what to expect as I hadn't been before but I'm so glad I did. Awesome atmosphere. Special shout out to waiter Edward J. for helping me get dollar bills for the queens as I'm from out of town and forgot my debit card, and for just being a super helpful and amazing waiter in general. I hope I wasn't too annoying! THANK YOU! Can't wait to come back!“

“This place is a great little dive bar with a mostly gay crowd. I was looking for something beside the usual cliquish Hilcrest crowds and over priced drinks. This place was great. The bartender, Pedro, who happened to be one of the owners was friendly & social-able. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Extremely so. Jukebox with what seemed a good selection of music although I didn't personally take a look. What was played was Gen Z era music and a lot of repetitive Taylor Swift. Perfect place for a local vibe and a chilled night.“

The Loft Gay Bar • $

“The most laid back gay bar I’ve been in. I walked in a stranger and left with friends…A lone Brit, I went in on my own, which I never normally do. Everyone is friendly and easy-going.Thanks to Gerald for first welcoming me, and to Travis and all bar tenders It was great to be served by attentive bar tenders who were always so warm and friendly.“

“This is advertised as a gay dive bar. It should be advertised just as a neighborhood bar. The crowd was mostly straight. The bartender was super friendly and drinks were reasonably priced. It has a AMI Jukebox but by the time I arrived there was no way anything I tried to play would be. The AMI selection of music was very outdated. I found only one recent song in an excessive amount of searching but my taste in music probably wasn't appropriate for the crowd.“

“Very Gay! But common you are in Hillcrest, what could you expect. I was a bit out of my comfort zone, but the bar itself has great music and great drinks. I was in the waiting list for Hiro Nori Ramen, so I had a few drinks while I waited for my table.“

“I've been here before, I thought the music was really good and drinks were reasonably priced. I like all the flyers on the website. There's a link in the description. I think I like the HOUSE RULES night if I were to go again. It sounds like a party I went to in the bay area, something like audiofunk or audio fun. I would check this out if you are traveling from out of town. A must visit. Thank you.“
