This neighborhood bar is a best-kept secret of San Diego. Our bartender a couple Saturdays ago was really friendly and welcoming and we had a great time sitting at the bar, chatting with the other folks there (a nice mix of LGBT and straight) and playing songs on the Jukebox. This is our go-to place.

Super friendly bartender. Good place, laid back vibe. Draft was $5.25, which is a pain in the ass - leave a crappy 75 cent tip or a hefty $1.75? Didn't know it was a gay bar when I wandered in, but that's ok by me - just not the place for me to go on a cougar hunt. Looked like they had a bunch of regulars bellied up to the bar, but they were welcoming when they heard I was new to the neighborhood. Can wander back & forth from Lancers next door. Parking sux. Solid place.

I have been coming to this bar for almost 10 years. I love all the bar tenders, and Sundays are always Fundays! I have to give the bartenders credit with putting up with idiots who try to come in with improper documentation to drink lol. They get so upset and lash out , it's called a current passport or valid drivers license. They are just doing their jobs!!! Love this bar, love the friends I've met over the years! Cheers!!!!!!
