I go to Kenzi, it's usually on Sundays, in the morning. There time ranges from opening to around 11 am, when the church goers file out of First Pres which is right next door. At around 11, it gets fairly busy. But when I went to Kenzi's it was right at opening so there was no wait and we got our drinks/food really quick. Just amazing! Got the blackberry mint latte and it has become my most favorite flavored latte drink. The barista has such a great and positive vibe and the interior feels so welcoming and comfortable.

I visited San Diego for a few days and Kenzi became a sanctuary! The coffee was excellent. The empanadas and cinnamon rolls - nicely warmed - were lifesavers since my nearby hotel offered no food or snacks. The staff were friendly and efficient. I loved the clean, simple furnishings and positive mottos on the walls. I felt as though I was stepping into a calmer world when I visited Kenzi every morning.
