DELICIOUS! It's a small mom and pop Mexican restaurant, with great food. I've only been there twice now and both/different dishes have not disappointed, me or my friends. It's dangerous for me bc I live so close, definitely going back for more.

La Libertad Cocina Urbana has ventured into their first brick and mortar after many years as working hard as a local food vendor here in San Diego.They specialized in making beef birria and all the different combinations it can be served, like the pair of quesabirria tacos I enjoyed with Consommé of beef; but, they also offer with this new locations burritos, including breakfast, tortas, salads, and a variety of appetizers such as flautas....read full review

I love the food from here. I have tried other Birria places in the area and this is the best by far. The food is always consistent, and I have tried about everything on the menu. Everything is fantastic, but the quesa birria tacos are 10/10.
