We had reservations to sit outside, but it was raining. I received a call early in the day letting us know we would be moved to the dodo doughnut café, which was adjoined to the restaurant. We enjoyed sitting in that area, as it was much quieter than the main dining room. As for the service, food , friendliness and knowledge of staff, everything was absolutely incredible! This restaurant has gone through a transformation. The new chef, Jeff has energized the menu and greatly improved the quality of the food. Jeff, the new operations manager has made this a wonderful neighborhood experience! Bravo gentleman! We highly recommend this restaurant!
I appreciate a restaurant that knows how to pace food appropriately, giving us time to savor each dish instead of piling them on one after the other without time to assimilate. Our server was delightful and serviceable. My first bubbly was not so bubbly so I requested for the next one to be a little more crisp.
