The salsas here were amazing! We ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and 5 rolled tacos. Prices were very affordable and the atmosphere was very nice. Tables were clean and chairs were sturdy and comfortable. They had a tv on and were very welcoming. Also gave great recommendations.Kid-friendliness: Had quarter machines for kids high chairs and customer only restrooms.
Okay this was our first sign to this little ma and pa type place. Just a small Mexican restaurant. The place was clean and the food was pretty good. Definitely authentic Mexican food. Quaint little atmosphere.

I eat a LOT of tacos. These were very good. Not San Diego's best but El Sabroso will definitely be a spot I stop when I'm hungry in this corner of town. I had 2 tacos, one chicken and one carnitas (pork). The flavors were right and the fillings in the doubled-tortillas were abundant. The pork was a bit greasy but still delicious.
