My favorite English tea place in San Diego (Shakespeare's Corner Shoppe) opened up a larger tea restaurant in Point Loma. I believe it used to be an old diner.They did a great job decorating the place with a cute little parlor in the entrance. The women's restroom has a fun Harry Potter theme.The food is always so good. Absolutely loved this beautiful tearoom! The menu was great, tea selection was amazing impressive, and the decor has so much to offer - Mad Hatter, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes. Book early, but if you can't find an opening, you can also TEXT them and they will call you if there's a cancellation. We got in last minute on our day of choice! Our daughter was taking us here for our anniversary with our granddaughter, but when the time came they could not come due to illness. They had made their policy clear that they had to charge us because "we already prepared the food" but they did pack theirs up for us to take as we left.
