Our party of 4 went on a Thursday night and we were seated right away. There were seats at the bar and 2-4 person high and low tables. Because it’s in Hillcrest, we had a rough time looking for street parking- ended up finding a spot a couple blocks down.We ordered from the Specialty Tacos list: Steak and Bones, Bad to the Bone, and El Presidente. This is by all means, a jewell in the San Diego’s culinary scene. The tacos are absolutelly spectacular, top quality ingredients, great flavors, good salsas, great beer selection and a rather couzy atmosphere. I dare to say, Steak & Bones has the best tacos in San Diego, period..Ohh… on top of all the above mentioned.. prices are more than fair..

Steak and Bones Tacos is in Hillecrest on Fourth Ave. The food was so good and very reasonable! We ordered the Steak and Bones Taco ribeye which is meant to be eaten with a knife and fork, the Presidente - a chile stuffed with cheese and grilled on a homemade tortilla, and steak street tacos. Everything was fresh and delicious. We'll be back.
