My friend and I were craving Italian food and actually tried to go to Esca blu, which is temporarily closed. We found this place on the same street and it was truly a blessing in disguise. This was some of the most delicious Italian food I've tried here in San Diego (no exaggeration)!! Making a reservation is super quick via yelp. We were seated right away. I must've tried half the menu by now, between dining in and UberEats. There's not a single thing I've tried that I wouldn't order again, but the appetizer polenta salsicciq (sausage ragu) is the dish that always keeps calling my name when I return. The owner even recognized me after only my second time dining in, with over a month between visits. This place has quickly become my new favorite restaurant at this price point, and it outperforms many restaurants at higher price points....read full review

Visiting San diego and looking for Italian tonight.Ended up here Parma Cucina Italiana.Large choice of pastas with decent prices.They had Squid Ink pasta for tonight special which is hard to find at other places.Three of us ordered Squid ink pasta, Bolognese, and famous Lasagna.
