Pros: no cover for PPV, dogs allowed, decent draft beer selection, easy parking, neat shopping area for tourists, close to Sunset Cliffs.Con: i prefer hamburger helper over the shepherds pie.
Love the Harp, I've always loved the Harp! Another pillar of Newport and I hope it always will be. The doorman is awesome and friendly. The bar tenders are unable to disguise their dislike of serving customers.

I was curious to check out the place now that it's under new ownership since the unexpected passing of the former owner. I didn't expect much from the dive bar but the typically sticky surfaces and questionable bathrooms (which it still had). But then we ordered sliders, a burger with fries and the Caesar salad. And damn those patties were so good, we ordered even more sliders. I later learned that one of the new owners was one of the people behind Hodad's and it all made sense....read full review
