“It is delicious and you can tell it is popular as there is always a line to get in. Their specialty, as their name suggests, are pancakes, and although there are normal ones, the best are the German ones, which are a giant crepe type filled with caramelized apple or vegetables with cheese. A little expensive but worth it“
“Delicious waffles!!! Fluffy and delicious butter, the strawberries are cool. A must stop for breakfast if you are in San DiegoKid-friendliness: They have a children's menu with appropriate portions, a tablecloth with activities and crayons that entertain them for a long time. The place itself is very beautiful and attractive for children.“
“We had a craving for chicken and waffles and this place didn't disappoint!! Huge serving of fried chicken ( not chicken strips) and perfectly done waffle. We also had an omelette that was tasty...not over cooked and an appropriate amount of cheese and veggies. Service was fast and workers were nice. Great prices for what we had ( enough to take home a whole other meal!) place was clean and nice but because it's in a strip mall, no view of anything except the parking lot, which was ok for us for this meal. We will be making this a regular dining spot!!!“
“Great little place! The taro smoothie with soy milk was perfectly creamy and the flavor was spot on. Got 25% sweet and might get even less next time, with extra boba. Only downside is the $1 charge for non cow milk / no dairy. $9.60 total for my drink, so a little expensive to come often.“
“It's actually a 4.5 star for me. Cafe hue is really nice and cute, I took off .5 points because I ordered their Nutella Mixed Berry Crepe, and I didn't think too much of it because it's berries (blue, rasp, and strawberry come to mind). I didn't know they had kiwi in it, and I have a slight allergic reaction to kiwis. Though is it my fault for just assuming there wasn't kiwi in it. But overall, the crepe is delicious, and I would order again, just a different crepe selection“
“What can I say, best coffee, brunch food and service in all of San Diego! I live around the corner so I'm a regular here. Their coffee is so great and 3x less than some crappy overpriced Starbucks drink. Plus your supporting a local San Diego business and business owner who works extremely hard to make sure he delivers the highest quality of coffee. They even have an sweet app where you can just place your order for pick up so you can just grab and go. Also you accrue points and on your 10th purchase your get a free $10 so spend on whatever you'd like! Which I recommend any of food options cause I have yet to get something I have not thoroughly enjoyed. All the food is AMAZING. They have a wide variety of unique coffees for everyone, so many delicious options (I recommend the Vietnamese Iced coffee or the Dangerous pour over if you're looking for something to really get ya going or the City Slicker if you're just looking for something nice and refreshing to start the day). Mind you the City Slicker is only like $3!! And taste better than any coffee I've had at any big franchise coffee spot. You can tell the owner puts a lot of work and love into his business which is why everything you buy comes out so great. There's a uniqueness to it you can taste in the product and like I said, nothing better than supporting a hard working San Diego based business and not to mention all the staff are so welcoming and sweet. I know this is a long review for a coffee joint but I've been going here for years now and just felt they deserve some top recognition for the talent, hard work and overall love they put into this place. I have friends that come all the way from LA just to get their San Diegan breakfast sandwich and the ever so famous Vietnamese iced coffee. If you order food just don't forget to ask for the chipotle sauce on the side that stuff is literally like crack! Sauce so tasty make ya wanna slap yo momma! Hahaha jokes aside go support Local Krave and support SD business, I promise you will not be disappointed“
“This place is stunning. Ryan the owner clearly cares about delivering a great experience.I’ve been to many restaurants and bars in downtown San Diego. This is one of the best. I had a delicious brunch here. Easily one of the best. When in downtown, check it out.“
“Possibly the best breakfast restaurant ever. Great food and reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Only possible drawback might be the wait to be seated if you arrive when they are busy. (Which is most of the time.) But well worth the wait.“
“The apple pancakes here are great. However, the waiter didn't check on us throughout our meal. It would have been helpful if he had. Also, one of us had ordered the mushroom and cheese omelette, which was supposed to come with a sauce but it did not.“
“Wow! I really love the chicken. I ordered the Combo #1 which included 2 pieces of chicken and a waffle! The only thing I want to complain about is the waffle - it was thick and fluffy which I appreciated... but it was soggy. I will say, I didn't get to go here in person (my boyfriend picked up for me) so maybe that contributes to the soggy waffle? Would like to try again!“
