A friend wanted to go here since he'd been here before. I was a little surprised there was a line since I was picturing an average bakery, but the line went pretty fast. After trying all my goodies, no wonder people wait in line for this. They are all excellent and interesting, unusual flavor mixes. I got a citrus vanilla scone, chamomile kumquat cream bun, and an Earl grey bergamot cookie. All delicious. I'd certainly go here again when I'm in the area. Yum!
This is the best bakery in San Diego. The line moves pretty quick, seating is available outdoors but it's first come first serve. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Beat the line by ordering ahead the day prior and pick up at the top go window. Sandwiches are available at 1100 daily.Vegetarian options: Two sandwiches daily. One is vegetarian and the savory pastries always have an all veg option. Few items if any were vegan.
