We stopped in to the Alamo Square Cafe before heading over to see the Painted Ladies on Friday. Every seat was filled, and for good reason!We had a short wait to order, but service was super friendly, and with only 2 people working, I thought it went quickly.I ordered the Pastrami on a Dutch crunch roll with provolone. Great, cute neighborhood place. A little messy sandwich but so good. Service was great as well. Definitely coming back, we took our sandwiches to Alamo Square and it was a cute Saturday hang.

Great place to stop for a delicious sandwich and coffee if you’re visiting the painted ladies!My fiancé and I were visiting for an event and stayed nearby within walking distance.
