I'm not sure what happened to my initial review, but it seems to have disappeared. I visited most recently yesterday for lunch because I was running an errand in the Richmond neighborhood and was getting hungry. I remembered that this place had pretty good sandwiches. I scored parking right in front of their store around 1PM on a Tuesday. Chicken katsu was bland, the crust was somewhat flavorful but wouldn't get it again. Egg sandwich on the other hand was delicious & creamy and had flavors of dill/herbs. Fries were about $7, looked like the frozen kind & were nothing special. Would come back for the egg sandwich, love their bread too.

I was in the area when I spotted Bread n' Chu and I immediately started having cravings. It's a small shop and definitely for takeout. But, as with katsu sandos, you'll definitely want to eat it as soon as possible to get that full crispiness of the fried meat and the fluffiness of the bread.
