“Currywurst and bier - in a big bright open space. Bar overlooking the bay and very popular brunch spot on Sunday. Exterior seating available with heaters. Very beautiful and bright interior. Minimalist design and functional. Tables set up for communal seating I think only if things get too busy. Food came out very very fast. I was impressed with the small menu - I just don't think its possible to have everything on a menu and to do everything well on that menu. Currywurst was cooked well with some car and the curry sauce went well with the french fries. Wasn't overly impressed with the french fries. They were good but not burn your mouth hot. Value was good. Its what you expect from San Francisco. Everything has gone up in price so if your on a super tight budget you might want to pass. Alex was the server and he was outstanding. I asked for his opinions on the menu and he made the choices even easier. It was a very busy time and he seemed to get around to everyone in a timely fashion. I think the best views would be a the bar. Its slightly higher up than the tables and you can better see out the windows. Bathrooms were very clean and give me confidence in the place as a whole.“
“Love this brewery bar! Everyone is so welcoming. My personal favorite was the lemon grass beer. So flavorful! I got some to go as well. There was a Korean food vendor from SF outside the venue so we got some snacks to go with the bar. Will be back !“
“Best damn brewery in SF. This place had a cozy neighborhood feel while being friendly and welcoming to guests from all over. The brewer has decades of experience and has pioneered a true onsite microbrewery atmosphere with a dynamic tap list and simple yet tasty food menu. Perfect for after work drinks or grabbing a 4 pack of freshly made cans to go!“
“What a total cool brewery to hang out at. Food really good and great IPA's. The atmosphere is outstanding with indoor and outdoor seating. It is right next to (literally) Chase Center where the Warriors play and other concerts etc. perform.“
“It has been a while since I’ve gone to this place. Came here the week that they first opened and several times since then. This last visit was the first time since they switched ownership. Came here on a Sunday afternoon. There were seats available but definitely started to fill up. First thing that I noticed was the music was a tad loud. They had several TVs showing various games. (This place gets busy especially when Bay Area teams are playing.) There were a couple of big groups including a birthday party upstairs.I ordered the fish and chips. It was good but it was not as big as I had expected.“
“Street parking only. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere has a cool and unpretentious vibe. The bartender was helpful and friendly. He took his time in explaining the beer flight I got.I had lunch before coming to this place, so I only tried their home fries. It was delicious. All the beers I drank were very drinkable. I love their porter the most.“
“Somehow this spot feels like a backcountry ranger station or mountain top ski hut. What I’m saying is it’s cozy, simple, understated and completely unique for the area brewery/bar scene. These guys make great beer and wine locally, and empanadas are on point. Look for the ski lift chair out front and escape.“
“Beer is always best fresh, and I thoroughly enjoyed my weekday lunch visit. It's basically just a kiosk take out window in front of the Ferry Building. Lots of seating, both in the shade and in the sun. They have maybe 8 taps plus a decent selection of cans. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so the bartender was nice enough to walk me through a few different beers with samples and descriptions. I settled on the ANIMAL IPA with my empanada.“
“Great European food especially the schnitzel and stroganoff. Beer choices are always great with a majority euro selection including dark and light polish, German, and Belgium beers. I have been going to this place sporadically over the years and am just now reviewing it. Love this spot and hope it stays for years to come.“
“This bar rules y’all. Friendly bartenders, good drinks, fun interior, spacious, and they even have a fireplace. I’ve been for trivia before, and that was fun too! This place is kind of a hidden gem. It’s a great place to go hang with friends.“
“We stayed at the Zephyer hotel attached to this restaurant. Kay and her staff were absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond for me and friends. We were in town for a football game. Can't say enough good things about this place. Food and staff were great and will def go back if we're ever in town again.“
“Great place to get casual drinks with friends especially on weekdays. The tater tots, stouts, and fried cheese curds were great finger food.Vegetarian options: Spiced cauliflower, tots, fried cheese curds, pizza, veggie burger are all tasty vegetarian options“
“Off the path brewery that offers a variety of beers on tap. It's a great spot for a super low key evening as there is standup comedy outside when the weather is warmer or in the distillery on select nights. I've been to both spaces and it's fun, depending on the luck of the draw of comedians. The bar area can get hot and stuffy pretty fast when there's a lot of people. Note the distillery for standup is quiet and energy can be low in the evenings since there are only string lights and no music. One comedian described it as "a group gathering in the dark waiting for a vigil to a tragedy" LOL“
“We stopped here after a nice long walk in the park and turned breakfast into brunch. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, a veggie scramble and the french toast to eat. The breakfast sandwich was awesome, the veggie scramble was good (the hashbrowns are the real star OMG) and the French Toast was that perfect blend of fluffy and delicious. The beer is very good, the rose was good and the Paloma was super refreshing!Stop by!!“
