Amazing place. I come here all the time, the prices are very fair and the service is amazing. Super small quiet place with the sweetest lady serving the tables. This place is a staple of nob hill, if you like a small intimate dining experience you'll love this place.
A great local sushi spot! Food: we ordered two dinner combinations. highlights were the spicy tuna roll, hamachi maki, chicken katsu, and chicken teriyaki. fish was fresh, portions were generous, and everything was delicious! Service: fantastic! we ordered take out online, but when we arrived our order wasn't ready yet. the kind folks there offered us hot tea while we waited Ambiance: such a cute spot! we'll be back to dine in soon

My ABSOLUTE favorite NO FRILLS Sushi restaurant. Tom and Wendy are WONDERFUL, and their service and attentiveness to their customers outstanding. The fish is always fresh, ample cuts. Being a "Bento" I don't typically eat Bento so I can't say much about their bento boxes; but my Mom loves em. Of course she does, she was married to one. haa ha haah All kidding aside, Fish-n-Gari is a solid traditional Sushi restaurant, prices are reasonble, service is great, and fish is DELICIOUS....read full review
