I regularly go to their pop up booth at the Saturday farmers market behind SF Ferry Building. They are in the back plaza area near Gate C Golden Gate Ferry Terminal. Delicious, hearty breakfast sandwich with runny egg yolk if you desire that. Great customer service too.
Gumbo Social offers an authentic taste of the south with its flavorful gumbo that strikes the perfect balance between spicy and savory. Hot sauces on display so I could add to my bowl. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, reminiscent of a cozy New Orleans eatery, making it a great spot for both casual lunches and special occasions.The staff was friendly. The menu includes a variety of Southern delights, Gumbo Social is a must-visit for anyone craving genuine gumbo and soul food!

Listen…I just moved back to San Francisco after living in Texas for some time and also have family roots in Louisiana. My grandfather used to have his own gumbo spot there and his recipe was my absolute favorite until I came to Gumbo Social. The food here is SO good and I can’t wait to come back with friends and family. Thank you thank you thank you for making my day!
