Watched a bunch of mukbangs the night before and the craving was met here. Jjajiang myeon through Doordash was hella clutch. The chili shrimp was everything you never knew you needed. Get it. Enjoy. Take a nap after. Live your life.

Mandoo is the bomb.. there is not alot of seating so make sure to secure a seat before you order! The jajang rice is what we got. The sauce was not alot tbh, but the egg on top made it just fine!! They give you extra soup to enjoy the food even better!!!

A big bowl of noodle soup is like a comforting hug on a warm day. Throw in spicy seafood, and it's like heaven.

Don't know what to eat, but want a quick and delicious meal? Paik's Noodle is such a solid option. Food is good. Portions are generous. My favorite would have to be their classic Jajangmyeon/Black Bean Noodle. The noodles are nice and QQ. The sauce is well seasoned and flavorful. It has a unique flavor from the fried black bean paste. Generous sauce portion too. I always have leftovers and add it on a bed of hot rice the next day. Love that they give you a side of pickled radish as a palate cleanser. Their jjampong and tangsuyuk is pretty good too. Staff are nice. Food comes out pretty quickly. Only thing to keep in mind is that the food court can get really busy during peak times making it hard to find a seat. Overall, 4/5.

Jajjangmyun ( black bean noodle) is every Korean ‘s soul food that brings out such a nostalgic memories of childhood , especially if you grew up in 80 or 90s in Korea. My parents would take me to Korean Chinese restaurant on special days like birthdays or graduation day. I tried several places in the Bay Area that might mimic the tastes of my childhood memories but this place is closest it gets.I love their jajjangmyun and tangsuyuk ( sweet and sour pork) . Their jajjangmyun has perfect combination of sweet and saltiness of black beans with chewy noodles. I love coming here but can’t come very often because my geriatric metabolism can’t handle the carbs and fat contained in this delicious dish ! lol

Paik's is a great place to grab lunch (or dinner) if you're in the craving for jajangmyeon. The original black bean sauce noodle is their signature dish, but I always opt for the jaengban jajang which is a spicy seafood black bean sauce noodle. The dish is pretty spicy even for my taste, but hits the spot every time. The jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) and beef jjamppong (non-spicy beef noodle soup) are also really good. The pickled yellow radish they give on the side with your noodles is quite tasty. This location is in the HMart food court and can get busy during the lunch or dinner rush. For dine-in, the food court has a number of tables that are on a first come first serve basis. For takeout, I like to order and go grocery shopping while waiting for my order. Just remember shopping carts are not allowed in the food court. Parking is plenty as HMart has a big parking lot.

I've been craving jjamppong and jjajangmyeon so I was super happy to grab some takeout from here on a recent trip to Hmart. After some waffling, I decided to order the jjamppong and tangsuyuk. The dishes came out pretty quickly and the portions were HUGE. The noodles for the jjamppong were perfectly cooked and set aside so they wouldn't get soggy. The flavor of the broth was so good with a very rich seafood umami flavor. The tangsuyuk was lightly breaded and super crunchy! These two dishes were enough for two people! This food court is pretty busy and the parking lot outside is small and tight, but there are a lot of people constantly going in and out so it's not too hard to get a table!

Got the Jjajjangmyeon. The food here is solid! Exactly what I was expecting to get. It does get packed near dinnertime especially on a Friday or weekends, so sometimes its hard to snag a table. Not the best ambiance but what do you expect? It's convenient!

The jajangmyeon is popular here, and if you get it to go, the porky black bean sauce is packed separately so that your noodles stay perky. The Jjamppong is what stood out to me though, and it is a HUGE portion of noodles, veggies, and shrimp. Definitely will leave you full, and it's hard to resist drinking more of the lightly spicy broth. Tangsuyuk seemed popular here, but will have to hit that on my next visit!

Jaengban Jjajang has a strong flavor because of the fire taste, and Sweet and Sour Pork was well fried, so it was crispy and chewy when I poured the sauce.I want to try jjamppong next time.

To be fair, my rating is for the jjajjangmyeon (#1 on the menu) only. Located right in the middle of the H mart food court, Paik's noodle offers up a selection of noodle dishes, along with a few different fried proteins. Since I was looking for something quick and simple, I decided to go with the jjajjangmyeon to go. I was surprised that it was only $12! They give you a number once you pay and then they use a teleprompt screen to announce/display your # once it's ready. When you pick up your order, they take your number from you. The cashier had my order packed up nice and neat, with the noodles and black bean sauce in two separate containers. They give you a small side of sliced pickled radishes as well, along with a pair of chopsticks and napkins. These might sound like little things but you'd be surprised with the way to go orders are packed sometimes. My sister lives 10 min away so the food was still really hot when we got back and I tossed the sauce and noodz together. By far the BEST jjajjangmyeon I've ever had. The sauce had hella pork belly bits and was the right amount of savory and sweet. So many places overload their sauce with sugar, but Paiks got it right. The noodz were cooked perfectly, not too al dente, but not soggy at all. They were stuck together when dumped out of the container, but loosened up right away with the hot black bean sauce. Sooooo silky with the right amount of chew. This is the perfect sized portion if you're really hungry, or great as as a side with another entree (my preference). My only regret was not eating this fresh at the food court. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes!

Super tasty -- and the owners are so kind! Great spot to visit after shopping at HMart.

So happy there's a solid Korean/Chinese place in SF now! (Korean/Chinese as in it's koreas version of Chinese cuisine and is something that is often enjoyed as a quick takeout/simple meal - a lot of peeps get it right after moving too as tradition or on "solo" day) The flavors are pretty typical in terms of the various Paik's noodle restaurants that are ever so prevalent in the Korean supermarket food courts across the nation and I think the price is pretty reasonable (~40 for 2 black bean noodles and the tangsuyuk for 2 people) I think the only thing to note is that this hmarts food court seating is the survival of the fittest esp on weekends - always such a struggle to find seating. Also the fact that there's no like normal drinking water available like in most food courts

I ordered the full size chili sauce shrimp (12 shrimps) and it was a hit for the whole table! You could order a half which comes with 6. The staff was very friendly and remembered who I was after I ordered, went shopping, then came back.
