Old school beloved greasy spoon best known for Vietnamese beef and chicken phó, Shrimp & Crab Thick Noodle Soup (Banh Canh Tom Cua) and Bún riêu, a Vietnamese Crab, Pork & Tomato Noodle Soup. Relatively inexpensive plate of food for San Francisco. I got the pork chop rice and though the pork chop itself was a bit smaller than expected, the flavor was spot on. It also comes with rice and some shredded pork and noodles which helped a bit with the small pork chop. The tea also uses real tea leaves instead of a tea bag which is rarer for small place like this. I may come back to try the soup noodles next time

A restaurant I always stop by when I'm on a business trip to San Francisco. It was nice that it was cheap and always open, but perhaps the owner passed away, so the business hours have been shortened. Although the price has increased a little, it is an exceptional price compared to surrounding prices. Stir-fried food and pho are delicious.
