Don't know what to eat, but want a quick and delicious meal?Paik's Noodle is such a solid option. Food is good. Portions are generous. My favorite would have to be their classic Jajangmyeon/Black Bean Noodle. The noodles are nice and QQ. The sauce is well seasoned and flavorful. It has a unique flavor from the fried black bean paste. Generous sauce portion too. I always have leftovers and add it on a bed of hot rice the next day. Love that they give you a side of pickled radish as a palate cleanser. Their jjampong and tangsuyuk is pretty good too.Staff are nice. Food comes out pretty quickly. Only thing to keep in mind is that the food court can get really busy during peak times making it hard to find a seat. Overall, 4/5.

Delicious. Don’t know how to contact the owners but want to make a request. Please make it possible to do a side order of just the soup (국물) of the jjambbong (짬뽕)! ??

Got the Jjajjangmyeon. The food here is solid! Exactly what I was expecting to get.It does get packed near dinnertime especially on a Friday or weekends, so sometimes its hard to snag a table. Not the best ambiance but what do you expect? It's convenient!

The jajangmyeon is popular here, and if you get it to go, the porky black bean sauce is packed separately so that your noodles stay perky. The Jjamppong is what stood out to me though, and it is a HUGE portion of noodles, veggies, and shrimp. Definitely will leave you full, and it's hard to resist drinking more of the lightly spicy broth.Tangsuyuk seemed popular here, but will have to hit that on my next visit!

To be fair, my rating is for the jjajjangmyeon (#1 on the menu) only. Located right in the middle of the H mart food court, Paik's noodle offers up a selection of noodle dishes, along with a few different fried proteins. Since I was looking for something quick and simple, I decided to go with the jjajjangmyeon to go. I was surprised that it was only $12! They give you a number once you pay and then they use a teleprompt screen to announce/display your # once it's ready. When you pick up your order, they take your number from you. The cashier had my order packed up nice and neat, with the noodles and black bean sauce in two separate containers. They give you a small side of sliced pickled radishes as well, along with a pair of chopsticks and napkins. These might sound like little things but you'd be surprised with the way to go orders are packed sometimes. My sister lives 10 min away so the food was still really hot when we got back and I tossed the sauce and noodz together. By far the BEST jjajjangmyeon I've ever had. The sauce had hella pork belly bits and was the right amount of savory and sweet. So many places overload their sauce with sugar, but Paiks got it right. The noodz were cooked perfectly, not too al dente, but not soggy at all. They were stuck together when dumped out of the container, but loosened up right away with the hot black bean sauce. Sooooo silky with the right amount of chew. This is the perfect sized portion if you're really hungry, or great as as a side with another entree (my preference). My only regret was not eating this fresh at the food court. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes!

One of the best places to eat San Francisco (theres are not many!!) jjajangmyun and seafood noodle soup (jjamppong) is consistently delicious and enjoyable.

So happy there's a solid Korean/Chinese place in SF now! (Korean/Chinese as in it's koreas version of Chinese cuisine and is something that is often enjoyed as a quick takeout/simple meal - a lot of peeps get it right after moving too as tradition or on "solo" day) The flavors are pretty typical in terms of the various Paik's noodle restaurants that are ever so prevalent in the Korean supermarket food courts across the nation and I think the price is pretty reasonable (~40 for 2 black bean noodles and the tangsuyuk for 2 people)I think the only thing to note is that this hmarts food court seating is the survival of the fittest esp on weekends - always such a struggle to find seating. Also the fact that there's no like normal drinking water available like in most food courts

I ordered the full size chili sauce shrimp (12 shrimps) and it was a hit for the whole table! You could order a half which comes with 6.The staff was very friendly and remembered who I was after I ordered, went shopping, then came back.

The counter Korean male staff keeps counting with the hand that touches the phone and gives the plate in front of you with that hand. I pass food with that hand and keep touching my phone. It's unhygienic. Don't work if you're unfriendly and just stand there looking at your phone. The person who worked around 6pm on March 15th. Bosses should know what their employees are doing.

This is a good takeout counter in H Mart. They serve Koreanized Chinese food. I ordered the jia jiang myun, the jjamppong, the mandu, and the tangsuyuk. The flavors were good for a takeout counter, but the prices didn't reflect take out food. They also forgot to add sauce for my tangsuyuk, so all I got were fried pork pieces. By the time I went back to the restaurant and had them provide the sauce, I was over the whole experience. When compared to other restaurants like jjamppong, considering that they are at a similar price point, I'd rather go to the competitors.

One of the best places in the Bay for Jjangmyun and beef broth Jjampong. The sweet and sour pork is freshly fried and sauce very good too. I love this place than any other noodle place in all of the Bay (including the pho places in the city), and I've eaten locally a lot (and live in SF). Kinda hip place the food court here, so a lotta young ppl evenings and lunch time on weekends. The owner who herself mans the cashier is lovely too, very nice ^^

I ordered 3foods including Jambong, Jajang and tang soo yuk. All taste were really great. Especially, Jambong was really excellent and it’s best I had so far so I’m highly recommend to everyone who loves korean style china food!!!

2/23/23 - It's cold and raining. Didn't feel like going out so we decided to order in.Paik's Noodle offers foods that are nostalgia for me. Growing up, my parents used to own a little more upscale Chinese restaurant that was infused with Korean style dishes. Things like Jjamppong, Jajangmein and kkanpoongi were frequently consumed while working at the restaurant. Since closing down, nothing met my expectations when it comes to this style of food. 20 years later, I still can't find any place that can cook as good as my dad did. Although Paik's food doesn't meet my satisfaction, it's still edible and enjoyable - at least some items are.Tonight, I saw that they had a new item on their menu from DoorDash: kkanpoongi. Pieces of fried chicken dressed in what's supposed to be a spicy garlicky sauce. I was excited to give it a try. $23.49 for an order, it should be somewhat legit. When opening the Togo container, I was disappointed and shocked. The pieces of chicken were mostly stuck together, the only other ingredients were tiny diced up bell peppers and the part with a whole 'lota oil made me feel disgusted. "Maybe it tastes better than how it looks" I thought to myself. It's always good to give the benefit of doubt, right? Well, shoot, it tasted exactly how it looked. No flavor, just drenched in oil. After fighting over trying to detach some of the chicken pieces and a few bites, I couldn't eat anymore. I felt my arteries clogging and my brain was sending immediate signals that it was not safe to consume. So disappointing...so mad...Thank goodness I ordered 6pcs of chili shrimp to take its place to satisfy my hunger.Do yourselves a favor and save your money. Do not order their kkanpoongi.

The price, the food, the friendly amazing lady at the counter make me want to go back there everyday.I went back the second time for the jjampong..Omg this is the best! Filled with seafood, the soup base is so delicous..I had many version of jjampong in Korea, but is really the best by far.
