As a visitor to SF: I ordered the white traditional arepa with pulled pork pernil filling to go, and oh my, when I got home and started eating, it was still amazing despite sitting in a plastic take-out box for 25 min. The flavours are just great. The photo doesn't do it's justice. For San Francisco, the price seems okay.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
I’ve eaten Pica Pica many times and will continue coming here. You can get a tasty arepa for a decent price (by San Francisco standards) and this is a great place for someone with gluten intolerance as arepas are corn-based. A few of the times I’ve have eaten here, the meat was pretty dry. Recently it has improved and I haven’t run into this issue.

Came here before a concert, it was a great snacks that turned into dinner :)Ordered the arepa and cachapa- loooove them! I personally like cachapa better because of thinner crust and that allows me to balance the corn and meat flavor.
