The Mongolian beef chow fun was very good and the porridge is plain and average (bonus points for the large pieces of fish). You have to add your own salt and pepper to your liking since they don't add it for you. I have been coming here for a few years and will say it is a reliable place to get a Hong Kong style breakfast/lunch. The service staff is limited but does a great job taking care of the entire restaurant. The owner is also very nice and friendly and helps out a lot in the restaurant. The food is tasty and really feels good to eat. I usually get the family style meals (6 items) but have occasionally come for the breakfast offerings too (porridge, rice noodles, toast, milk tea)....read full review

I ordered the 海南鸡饭 which translates to Hainan Chicken Over Rice. As you can see in the attached photo, it is a very plain looking dish. The chicken is boiled and served cold next to a serving of seasoned rice. There is also a ginger flavored dipping sauce included which complements the chicken really nicely.
