Food is not authentic! The restaurant is not well decorated. Menu prices is pretty high, not too many diners want to spend that much for a meal. I won't go there again, it's just my opinion.

I ordered the 海南鸡饭 which translates to Hainan Chicken Over Rice. As you can see in the attached photo, it is a very plain looking dish. The chicken is boiled and served cold next to a serving of seasoned rice. There is also a ginger flavored dipping sauce included which complements the chicken really nicely. My main complaint is the stingy single stalk of broccoli included. Come on now, veges aren't that expensive! The other issue that bothers me is to see cash only still showing up as the only payment option.

The Mongolian beef chow fun was very good and the porridge is plain and average (bonus points for the large pieces of fish). You have to add your own salt and pepper to your liking since they don't add it for you. Their Hong king milk tea was great with the right thickness, I just recommend adding another packet of sugar or two. This place is a no frills HK cafe, similar to the ABC cafe in SF. They have a very large extensive menu - spaghetti, sandwiches, Chinese food, seafood, etc.

I have been coming here for a few years and will say it is a reliable place to get a Hong Kong style breakfast/lunch. The service staff is limited but does a great job taking care of the entire restaurant. The owner is also very nice and friendly and helps out a lot in the restaurant. The food is tasty and really feels good to eat. I usually get the family style meals (6 items) but have occasionally come for the breakfast offerings too (porridge, rice noodles, toast, milk tea). Any of the dishes are really good, it's a matter of preference. I always end up picking the very yeet hai (less healthy) items because of how much I like them. The ambience can get crowded and busy during the weekend brunch time. Lots of older families come here especially on Sundays. Again props to the lone server who handles the entire place. I would recommend this place to people looking for a Hong style breakfast.

This is our favorite place for breakfast! So many of the city's Hong Kong style cafes are no longer open first thing in the morning (due to COVID) which is a shame because a bowl of congee and a milk tea or iced lemon tea is an amazing breakfast. Plus they make the city's best Mongolian beef. Want something else? Enjoy the menu with 100+ items, or choose from the many daily specials. Fast friendly service. Stop reading & start eating!

Nothing fancy or IG worthy But, solid, good Chinese comfort food all around. My go to, when I'm in the area.

Cash only. Early close and last order. There are just too many limitations with this place with very little to gain given the food was just alright. First of all they only accept cash and their price isn’t terribly cheap where you can get by with a few notes. Secondly their opening time just just isn’t dinner-friendly. They close at 7pm with last order at 6.40pm ish. While this makes sense for the kitchen to wrap up ahead, closing shop at a time when the majority of diners eat is not very clever.

I don't have too much expectation before going there. I ordered the steak spaghetti, it turned out much better than I thought. The steak cooked quite well and the sauce is delicious. I take out 1 star because I ordered the steak to be medium rare but it's more like well done.

The food is okay and the food quality is not really consistent. Service is not great neither!

It's a legit HK cafe, not "Asian fusion" as Google thinks. Ze algorithm is wrong.

Great food. Had to order two dishes: beef with green beans, pork chops with rice and tomatoes. Very tasty.

Wow! Best Chinese food in the Richmond. Highly recommend the crispy spicy tofu and spicy wonton. The flavors are unbeatable. You have a take out regular now.

Flavorful entrees, not overly salty, and with crisp vegetables.
