The banquet hall itself has been designed very well for a mid-sized event. The owner, Arthur, is an incredibly nice man and very helpful. He provided feedback and worked with me every step of the way to make sure everything turned out exactly as I had envisioned. The kebabs, hummus, tabbouleh, and Greek salad are my absolute favorites. Everything I've ever tried here is made fresh, yummy, and super delicious. ? The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. They have an open-concept kitchen, so you can see them cooking all the food when you order at the counter. ?️ My family and I usually like coming here to have lunch on Saturdays before 3:00 PM (they close from 3:00-5:00 PM Mon-Sat, then reopen from 5:00 - 8:00 PM for the dinner crowd, closed on Sundays). Both their salads are delicious and refreshing, Tabouleh Oaxaca Salad is a must try. Taco plate with chicken and cauliflower is my go-to. Everything is fresh and packed with flavor. Prices are affordable/reasonable and portions are perfect. “We had some delicious shawarma platters! The number of combinations you can make with the sides and upgrade to the fattoush salad is great. We had one chicken shawarma platter with rice, babaganoush, and labneh and one chicken shawarma platter with fattoush salad, garlic paste, and pita chips. All of it was very tasty. The garlic Toum was particularly good, as was the fattoush salad. Each platter comes with two thin pitas (the best kind). The shawarma was a more stewed chicken with onions and tomatoes than the usual kind of dry shredded off the skewer but it was so flavorful! Maybe best not to get it on rice because the ice absorbs all the liquid. We also got a cilantro jalapeno hummus that had a tiny bit of a kick. Everything was good, and the people were very friendly. We will have to come back to try more things!“

“There is not very much seating in the inside and it's a very small space. Luckily it was a nice day outside, so we ate there. The Lulu plate was very good. Great seasoned beef matched perfectly with the rice. The chicken gyro was just okay. I like having tzatziki sauce in the gyro and it was not present. Instead, they make theirs with a sauce similar to mayonnaise, so I don't recommend that unless you prefer a more mayo flavor. Overall, good service and sizeable portions.“

“Very surprised by the quality. Ordered the ground chicken kebab (koobideh) and the white meat chicken kebab. The flavor and quality was great. Getting chicken Koobideh to be flavorful is an uphill battle since it’s just ground chicken. This was beautifully seasoned, charred and juicy. Generous portions of beautifully cooked rice with salad and grilled vegetables and pita bread round it all out for a very competitive price in this inflation age. I wish there was an M Grill closer to where I live in Joshua Tree.“

“I had a list of 10 Mediterranean places to go to lunch with my friend in Pasadena and I am glad I narrowed it down to this one. Now, I was a little weary about the food coming out as soon as we were paying BUT the food was pretty amazing. This just tells me that they are super efficient during lunchtime on a Saturday! I remember when it was a KFC and I cannot believe how great they made it look. The staff was awesome! When I walked in they were joking around with each other like pals! Back and front staff! It’s rare to see such a positive team feeling like this! The manager was also very welcoming and gave great suggestions and was incredibly friendly and helpful. I don’t know what these negative reviews are talking about. The portions are great, and you get more for what you pay. The meat was quality white chicken breast meat which is no surprise because they have a carniceria on site! The meal felt homemade. The venue was very helpful with planning and helped create the perfect details for a memorable party. The menu options are plenty and all food was great, all guest enjoyed the variety of dishes and beverages. The venue worked with us so third-party vendors like cake baker, band, DJ, decorations, and photographers had early access to prep. Once the party began the venue staff made our diverse group of guests, many that had not attended this type of banquet feel very comfortable and offered polite service and drinks as needed. I have been coming here for years, before they moved to this newer location, and their food is always good. My favorite is the beef kabob plate, much better than any Mediteranean restaurants in the area, hands down. I used to go to others, but they either changed the type of meat or ingredients to lower quality. Z's quality is always been the bestt, juicy and flavorful. Please never change . A few of my fan favorites include the works, which comes with a little bit of everything, kafta, beef, chicken, two falafel balls and two step grape leaves. Chicken wrap is made with pita bread, garlic paste, lettuce, tomatoes, and homemade salad dressing. The sides forBesides for your wraps are pickled turnips and your choice of spicy potatoes or salad. My favorite salad would be the grilled veggie salad with protein optional it has onions, bell peppers, zucchinis, yellow squash, and corn, all grilled and topped with their homemade balsamic dressing and feta cheese. Their stuffed grape leaves and falafel are always a hit as well. I have yet to try their baklava, but that is next on my list they’re located in a food plaza, so there are a bunch of other eating establishments as well and their dining areas and restrooms are always spotless. Most of the establishments have the restroom code and Wi-Fi password posted or if they don’t, you can always ask! The TVs mainly play the news and they have connections if you need to charge your phone or laptop overall, this is one of my favorite places to eat.
