Total staple of San Jose. Grew up eating their pan dulce. Always delish traditional mexican bread. There is always so many fresh breads in stock. Waaay better than doughnuts! The store itself has lots of verity and is clean compared to many other grocery stores. Parking may be rough, but you can always get your Mexican treats at La Tropicana Foods.
One of the best Mexican (full service) grocery stores in San Jose.Wide range selection of Mexican and Latin American products.One of my favorite sections is their produce.High quality, locally selected and fresh.The meat department is full service and the butchers are available to cut and prepare cuts per your request.The bakery is top notch.Good selection and delicious.Bolios are 2 for $1.00.Tropicana is located at the corner of Story Rd and King.Plenty of free parking.
